And once you finish the contest piece you will come back here and post a link to it, that way it will be easier for me to know who is and isn't done.
I will determine which one I think is the best by comparing them and will try to take my time. I'l be comparing them on coloring/lineart, backgrounds, shading, anatomy, and accuracy to the original Oc design. Style will not matter that much. Please don't try to replicate my style as I want to see a variety! The number of participants is not limited.

Prizes- The prize will be an option of a full colored picture like this Skyfall or this One Of Us Is Going Down (limit is 2 OCs) Or a custom hybrid dakotian like this Dakotian Hybrid Adopt

I have too many pets.... like 17 animals..... too many.

Skylar was inspired by my brother who also shares the same name.... and in human form they look somewhat alike.

Dakota was inspired after me when I was much younger than I am now, like around 5 years old/

Dakotians were made to to help me with stress of my earlier years. I used to daydream 8 hours a day about them, which is why I have so much story line (books) to type out.

The shadow dakotian form used to be all back with red or white glowing eyes. No red wings, or claws, nothing of that sorta, but it all changed and the old form is now what Dakota looks like when he has heaven dakotian power restraining him, that form is known as the Angel of Darkness and when I'm further into book one you'll find out why its called that.

There used to be only one kind of dakotian, and that was the golden horned dakotian, then wolf dakotian came, then bull, rapido, vampire, rattleback, windseeker, diamond fang and ect. In that  order :D

Dakota's name came from south and north dakota (you know the states.)

Dakotians used to not have their own world.

Jade was not created until I came up with the backstory of Dakota

Noren,Geldur,Nash and Cole were created to act as fillers for the story line, so it wasn't too short and boring/repetitive.

There is a character called Blitz that will be coming soon in later chapters, He is a wolf dakotian.

Dakota and Skylar have been greatly nurfed to better fit the story (meaning they were op as fuck (over powered) ) I mean seriously they could destroy the freaking world if they wanted too. When they fought each other they leveled everything within hundreds of miles I mean Jesus.

Ari is Dakota's right hand man in everything, even if Ari is an annoying little fart cake.

Kamber is a genius but doesn't show it, also he is a brat.

Diamond Fang's are super rare and can be born from any species, they are born every few decades and don't last long usually.

Diamond Fang's are the only dakotian variant that can actually steal a shadow or heaven dakotians power as well as become them.

Tarmine is a hybrid between a bull horn and a species not yet released.

It was Salv that caused all the events of dakotians that have happened, such as the war, birth of the royal family (heaven and shadow dakotians), Extinction of vampire dakotians, near extinction of rattleback dakotians and ect. So yeah even if he meant good he did a bad xD.

Dakotians Book One Chapter Two Sneak Peak by Redwolfless

Chapter Two : New Heights

A groan escaped Dakota’s mouth, his eyes shut tightly as he stirred. Chains rattled with his every move, he took no notice to this, his paws coming up to clutch his head. He hated what ever sedative they used, gave him a horrible hangover feeling. Dakota noticed his paws were stopped short, his gaze looking down to see himself covered in chains and shackles. ‘Damn humans…' he thought, a harsh growl coming up, he made no attempt to suppress it. To his surprise no fellow Dakotian snarled, yelled, banged their cages at him, at this point Dakota realized he was in a room alone, in a very large cage with plenty of chains. The cub could care less if they ‘upgraded’ his status or living conditions, he was more focused on the room and its contents. Weapons, extra cages, chains, and all those lovely devices humans use on his kind. His green eyes looked somewhat dull, his body ached but he ignored the pain, stood up and struggled against the chains. ‘Come on, now would be a good time to have my power break this crap!’ Dakota thought, before his jaws came around one of the chains. Teething much like a cub his age would, his teeth still from his youth… sharp and small, Dakota wished he was full grown, he was sure he could make quick work of any bond, even if it was shadow stone. His stopped his struggled when he heard footsteps approaching. Dakota wasn’t surprised he heard them, with no annoying dakotians to distract him made it all too easy. The cub smirked as the huge metal door creaked open, and before who or whatever it was stepped in, he slowly and quietly sat in a prideful position, acting like royalty despite him being a captive, and royalty he was, whether he was imprisoned or not. Dakota half expected Jade or Grim to walk in… no it was the small boy, shaking with food in his hands yet again. The human child slithered in quickly, his eyes determined, his fear was less than last time, but why was that? Dakota cocked his head to the side with confusion and curiosity as the boy came over, showing as little fear as possible. “Not a-afraid of you!” The kid choked out, his hand coming near the bars, stopping a safe distance. This made Dakota chuckle. His eyes closing slightly looking away from the boy in a taunting manner. “Go on, put it down where I can reach it… I won’t hurt you yet anyways…” Dakota whispered, his ears perking, waiting for the boy to do so. A few minutes passed and Dakota got annoyed, his head turning around with open eyes to see the boy sitting down… Against the cage, amusing and surprising! “Why come so close, don’t you remember what happened to the first man that dared to come close?” The boy didn’t look at Dakota as he spoke, but the child’s heart was racing fast, fear or was he excited to be this close to something so dangerous. “I….. do, but my friends made a b-bet...with m-me.” The kid studded not as often as last time but it still showed fear. Dakota let a small smile burn past his fierce gaze. “A bet? What kind?” Dakota said softly, shifting to lay down, the chains rattled and the boy spooked, turning around and sat a good foot away from the cage, he was tense but that soon disappeared as he realized the creature was not going to attack...at least not now. “To….” The boy stopped his sentence, avoiding eye contact with the murderous creature. Dakota perked his head with even more curiosity than before, his green eyes softening as they brightened, this kid interested him, and Dakota kinda liked his company. ‘NO what the hell am I thinking! HUMANS ARE A DISGRACE!’ His conscience screamed at him to bite into this child’s neck which could be very do-able at this distance. Dakota let out a long sigh before speaking again “Speak boy…Do not be afraid of a caged animal that cannot hurt you from this distance, listen to what the man said be-” Dakota stopped, his gaze down at his paws. The kid looked at Dakota for a moment, thus causing Dakota to look up and speak with no shame whatsoever. “Before I ended his existence, fear can make you stronger but you have no right to be afraid of me.” Dakota frowned, his eyes turning harsh as the boy stared in awe. “You… you taught me m-more than any… of these hunters ever have.” The boy looked down at Dakota’s food still in his hand. Dakota sneered then gave a skeptical look towards the boy “That's not disturbing.” The cub joked, which made the boy giggle. To Dakota’s surprise what the boy did next, caught him off guard, small hands fearlessly entering the cage, coming mere inches away from Dakota’s jaws. “I know you’re not supposed  to be fed for a while but…I thought… I thought if I gave you food you could… do a favor f-for me?” The boy finished slowly, taking in words he was speaking, also fearing the beast might not like that and take his arm off out of spite. Dakota tried not to think about food dangled dangerously in front of his jaws, and a very bite-able hand at that! The creature strained his eyes, willing his every fiber not to kill the boy, after all he was amusing and interesting. “Does this favor have to do with the bet, and child believe me, I am far from starving… BUT I’ll play your game, what is it you want?” Dakota spoke sternly, his voice turning into a gleeful happy tone towards the end. “I… need evidence of spending time with...you.” The kid spoke with a new nervous tone, all the while avoiding eye contact. “Evidence eh? I’m sure a bite would suffice!” Dakota said happily before opening his jaw trying to scare the boy more. The child let out a small nervous scream, dropping the meat on the floor of Dakota’s cage, before retracting his hand. The beast started to laugh. “I’m just kidding, so jumpy even for a young hunter!” Dakota closed his eyes, giggling silently. “I won’t bite you… unless that is the only proof the’d except?” The cub craned his head to gauge the kid’s reaction. “Um… I don’t know, maybe but anything can bite right?” For the first time the child spoke correctly, no stuttering, no pausing, no yelping, it made Dakota happy for him. ‘Stop showing sympathy to such a lowlife you wretch!’ his mind raged at him “I… suppose you are right… hmm.” Dakota thought hard, trying to avoid the kid’s gaze. “Maybe I could take some fur?” Dakota’s head snapped towards the kid as he spoke. “That could work, how much do you need… WAIT I know!” Dakota yelled with excitement, jumping to his feet, the chains rattled violently, which made the boy jump back. “K-know what?” The kid stuttered again. ‘GAH and we were making progress, 'STOP BEING SO JUMPY DAMMIT’ Dakota snarled inside, hiding it on the outside best he could. Dakota shook his head harshly trying to scare the expression off his face… it worked ‘need to do that more often.’ Dakota thought briefly, his green fiery eyes resting on the boy again. “You could make something out of the fur, I don’t have as much gold in my fur since I’m a s-” Dakota cut himself off quickly saying “Well...since I’m not a...purebred!” Dakota lied, but technically it wasn’t a lie… just partly the truth… ‘partly’. The boy looked skeptical, but seemed to go for the lie. Dakota pressed his side against the bars of the cage, his head craned to keep an ever watchful gaze on the human boy. “Well? Go on, cut some fur off, I know you didn’t come here unarmed.” Dakota scoffed in a somewhat curious but happy tone. “I don’t… have one!” The boy said, picking up his tone and speed near the end. Dakota narrowed his eyes, smiling after a few moments before whispering “Don’t lie to me, I know you’re lying, out of common sense you’d have a weapon case things turned… ugly, and your heartbeat as sped up, so please cut off all the fur you desire.” The child froze up when he realized the creature had incredible hearing and the fact that it was smart too, hesitantly he pulled out a small dagger, coming closer to Dakota, who seemed quite unafraid or uncaring of the danger a dagger could posses, which caused the boy to become curious. Dakota smiled, turning his head away, averting his eyes to give the child more confidence. Dakota's hide shivered at the sheer coldness of the blade, he calmed himself as the bow pulled out a cloth. The kid started to cut off some of Dakota's fur, catching it in the cloth he possessed.

Dakota remained still, calm and silent the entire time, but honestly he wasn't sure why he'd help this kid. Maybe it was the fact this human child reminded him of himself. Once enough fur had been removed the boy quickly retracted the blade back into his pocket and tied the cloth together with his prize. Looking to his side where the boy had taken the fur, he was surprised at the boy's gentleness and finesses, it looked like nothing had been taken, but of course the fur was smaller in length. Sitting back down Dakota looked at the meat he'd almost forgotten about, his eyes gazing towards the boy, he seemed to gesture that he could eat. This caused Dakota to smirk, laying down to slowly savor the meat. "Thanks k-" Dakota stopped himself, quickly saying "What is your name?" He continued his meal after he'd asked the boy his name, scoffing down every last piece, licking his paws afterwards. "Cole, what is your's?" Cole had asked before saying "WAIT, that was stupid, I already know your name sorry..." Cole's voice quieted down to a whisper near the end. The beast chuckled with amusement. "Well... Cole, you're not stupid, but I suggest you leave before someone finds you, oh and do show me what you make out of my fur." Dakota spoke with pure confidence and not a shred of anger or misery in his words. Cole smiled, shoving the cloth that contained the creature's fur down in his pocket, and headed for the exit. Dakota's eyes briefly flashed in longing for the child to stay, he was a tad bit lonely without his fellow kin, but he quickly brushed that thought to the back of his mind. Cole opened the door carefully looking back and saying "Can we be friends?" The child spoke with pure affection and caring nature in those four words. Dakota perked his head up, his mind yelling at him 'SAY NO, HUMANS CANNOT HAVE US AS FRIENDS!' The beast's expression turning into a sour frown as he simply said "No." Turning around to face the back of his cage, huffing angrily as he regretted those words but made no attempt to change his mind. Cole looked on with dismay before sighing and leaving, closing the heavy door completely. Now Dakota was alone... in total darkness, although there was a window in this room too it was smaller and the outside was a dark grey color, a sure hint of rain. It wasn't long before Dakota dozed off from boredom, seeing no point of laying her with nothing to keep himself busy with, and sleeping would be good, keeping himself strong was important to survival in this place.Sleep came easy but so did the nightmares…

Dakota seemed to be in pitch blackness, much like where his captors have been keeping him, the only difference was, there was no cage, no chains,no doors or windows, just a dark void. He couldn’t even see the floor, which was unnerving and it scared him. He walked around for what seemed like days, not seeing any sign of life or light. ‘Am I dead?’ he thought, continuing his endless walking. A few more minutes ticked by before he came to the conclusion ‘No, death would be too merciful, I’m in a nightmare ,of course. Suddenly as he thought those words the nothingness became a room, much like the one he’d first been in, more cages than before though, no noises just the silence. Dakota narrowed his eyes looking around, the cages had beings in them, dakotians at that, but what was different. ‘WAIT.. was… was that Geldur?!’ Dakota’s mind raced, flashing an image of the old Windseeker. Geldur stumbled up from his cage, covered in dark crimson blood, his body thin as bones, and mangled badly. Geldur’s eyes were hollow, dead, milky white, wings torn to where his bones showed. Most of all he smelled like a rotting corpse. ‘No, that… that cannot be right, I can’t smell!’ Just as Dakota told himself that, he fell down, clutching his muzzle, gagging harshly from the awful sense, he briefly looked around to see Dakotan’s he’d never seen in the cages, all in the same condition as Geldur, his eyes widened into small dilated pupils filled with the dull fearful eyes. Geldur appeared to walk right through his cage, as well as the others, circling around Dakota. “Why did you do this Archen?” Geldur spoke with a horrifying hoarse voice. The other dakotians speaking in unison “Why did you do this?” Dakota looked up, tears falling down his eyes. “I’m not Archen! I’m Dakota, Geldur whats going on.” Dakota sobbed, he suddenly felt weak and small. He felt something kick him in the side, blood spilling out of his stomach, causing him to scream in fear as he looked at his insides now falling out of him. “LOOK WHAT YOU DID SHADOW DAKOTIAN!” Geldur yelled, digging his claws into Dakota’s stomach. “I didn’t! I didn’t do it!” Dakota screamed at the top of his lungs, suddenly finding it very hard to breath. His fear causing him to look at Geldur, who held the youth’s lungs in his talons. Dakota coughed up blood, his eyes squinting shut from sheer fear and guilt.
Chains rattled as Dakota flew up from laying down, screaming “Stop!” He breathed heavily, he felt worse from the nightmare, sleep did not help, only made him scared. His eyes still wide like they were from his nightmare, he looked down at his stomach, poking and prodding to see if anything would fall out. Tears welled from his eyes, as he flung himself to the floor, covering his head with his forelegs and paws. “I’m not Archen.. I’m not Archen, I’m no monster! Not a shadow dakotian!” He sobbed quietly, the sound muffled by his paws, luckily he was left in peace as no one heard him from the empty room he was held in. After Dakota regained himself, he wiped away his tears. The cub stood up, he wanted to get out of here, even if it killed him. 'If i broke chains and bars before I can do it again, this is what I've been training for!' He thought fiercely. Ramming the bars of the cage turned out to be harder than Dakota had thought, the chains around him rattled, causing him to growl in annoyance. Again and again, ram after ram still proved fruitless. 'Damn, almost forgot, still in the heavy duty cage...' This angered Dakota even more, laying down, he started to gnaw on the chains. Ten minutes passed, and he managed to get one chain almost broken, and at this point Dakota started to claw at it, much like he did when making the shadow stone wall. 'YES!' he thought happily, he may just manage to overcome shadow stone eventually, but it someone showed up it'd be useless to keep trying to escape. Dakota shifted still laying down, angling his body to hide the broken chain, plopping his head down to take a break for now, no use trying, he'd already made too much noise. The cub fell into another sleep, one without dreams or nightmares luckily. Breathing deeply and slowly he relaxed for now.

Everything smelled of herbs and blood, Jade never liked spending time in the infirmary but he needed to get his wounds cleaned and checked. Jade's mind was on Dakota, anger, worry, fear, regret, he could never forgive the beast. "Jade, all good, You're wounds are healing nicely!" A nurse piped up, and Jade came out of his thoughts. "Oh, thanks..." Jade responded, he looked down at his feet. "Jade, speak to me." The nurse spoke again, with a slight hint of concern. She sat down on the bed right next to Jade, putting her arm over the hunter's shoulder. "I'm going to kill him!" Jade snapped, he turned his head to look the woman nurse dead in the eye, frowning with confidence. The nurse tilted her head. "Grim won't allow that ,at least not yet and you know it Jade." The nurse spoke true words and it made Jade snarl, he pushed away from her and stood up, clutching his bandaged chest. "I have to go..." Jade spoke quickly and before the woman could answer he already left. "Poor Jade..." She mumbled under her breath, before standing up, and continuing her job.

Jade stormed down the halls, they were a white almost grey color unlike where they kept the Dakotians, halls and halls filled with doors that lead to rooms, seemed almost like a school or business sort of building. To where Jade was going, is Grim's office, he was determined to convince Grim to off the monster. Cole almost rammed right into Jade, they both weren't paying attention for reasons unknown between each other. "Cole watch it!" Jade spoke harshly, frowning down at the boy. Cole looked honestly concerned, but more fear showed instead. "Sorry Mr. Jade!" Cole spoke, swerving around Jade to stand out of the way. "What are you doing here Cole, You're off for the day." Jade put his hands on his hips, looking down at the boy, he dwarfed the boy by a good one and one half of a foot. Jade was about eight years older, maybe around eighteen years old, with Cole being ten maybe eleven. "I... uh, Needed to talk to my friends?" Cole spoke with uncertainty in the lie. 'If Dakota accepted being friends it wouldn't be a lie.' Cole thought. "Right." Jade spoke with a skeptical expression. "Come now, what are you really doing in this area Cole." Jade half grinned, placing a gloved hand on Cole's ruff black hair. Jade's green eyes looked right back into Cole's brown eyes. "Well go on, don't let me stop you." Jade ruffed up Cole's hair a bit more, before leaving towards Grim's office, waving a single hand behind him as a goodbye gesture. Cole gulped before moving on his way, down the hall and towards the exit. Jade turned a head to watch the boy scurry off, smiling before entering  a room. The inside was just like the halls, but it had a few trophies, pictures, weapons, and most of all a desk. Seemed like any normal office, but it looked more like a principle's office at most. A chair or two in front of the desk, paperwork, and shelves. Grim was sitting at the desk, he was filling out what looked like a student overall grade sheet. Grim's eyes never wavered towards Jade, simply he spoke. "What is it?" His tone said it all ,he was a bit tired and annoyed. Grim would rather be out in the field instead of cooped up in his office. Jade chuckled softly, taking a seat, and relaxing, his hands behind his head. "Come now, that's no way to speak to you're top hunter." Jade sneered. Grim let out a small grin, not moving his head, but eyeing Jade carefully. "I suppose so." Grim calmly stated. They stared at each other in silence for a couple of minutes, before Grim sighed and broke the silence. "You can't kill him, not yet anyways. We need information, more so on him and not his land." Grim said before going back to his work, knowing Jade would scowl or yell, so might as well not make eye contact. "You mean, his behavior? Dammit Grim, there's nothing else to it, the beast lost his mind." Jade snarled, slamming a fist down on the desk, his eyes shooting an intense glare. Grim set down his writing utensil, pushing the paperwork aside, cupping his hands together, Giving Jade his full attention. "Jade, where did you find him?" Grim questioned. Honestly Jade hadn't really taken notice to where he'd find the dakotian. "In a shadow stone quarry, an abandoned one at that."Jade looked away from Grim, as he mumbled that out. "What was he doing?" Grim questioned again with a firmer tone. Jade gritted his teeth together, looking down at the desk. "Sleeping in the sun, he was injured badly, he acted like he was someone  else..." Jade said loudly, shifting in the seat. Grim seemed more interested now. "Someone else?" Grim asked, tilting his head slightly. "You know... like... like an experienced adult or something." Jade said, taking in a deep breath before continuing. "He was doing some kind of training, He had a shadow stone wall carved out, thick and large." Jade turned his head to face Grim again, leaning back in the chair, crossing his arms over his chest. Grim leaned forward, resting his elbows on his desk. "That is interesting, any other information that you know about Jade?" Grim sounded sharp despite his tiredness. "Well, He managed to damage his cage, force some energy to form, and well… shattered some other cages, you remember don't you?" Jade questioned as if Grim was too old to remember what he did or had for breakfast. "Yes I remember, just curious if anything happened before then." Grim grabbed a pen and paper, noting down their conversation, well mainly the important stuff.

Back in the first holding room Noren lied down in his cage, he hurt badly, so close most of them came to freedom. 'Gah, maybe Geldur is right.' Noren rubbed his droopy eyes with his paws. Yawning slightly before settling back down, this action caused some other dakotians to yawn too, this made him chuckle quietly, trying not to wake anyone. A wolf dakotian shot their head up, flapping it's feathered wings, and letting out a few low murmurs, signaling everyone. Noren stood up and stretched then sat down as did many others. They all knew the drill. "Lunch time already?" Noren asked the wolf dakotian, who merely nodded excitedly and watched the door like a hawk. 'Such great ears.' Noren thought cheerfully. No one knew who the wolf dakotian was, he never spoke but jumbled words or didn't speak at all, he was lean, furry, most of all broken. The wolf hadn't been here as long as Noren, but he'd already cracked, which made Noren frown pitying the wolf dakotian. The heavy doors opened quickly as a new man came in with a cart of food portions each with numbers next to them. Each dakotain would get a portion varying in size of the others, depending on what kind they were and how old, didn't matter if they were sick or not. The portions were always small, given the fact that they got fed three times a day, and that dakotians can last a long time without enough food. The man guided the cart around, tossing meat to every cage. Noren sat patiently, it still bugged him to swallow his pride and spirit just to eat, most of the others didn't care anymore. The man tossed Noren's food right at his feet. The bull horn waited till the man moved away, he knew full well that sometimes humans can be grumpy if they ate right away, as to why, Noren could only imagine. Stupid humans, mad at nothing. Noren exhaled deeply before slowly eating his food, savoring ever bit of it. 'Mhh deer.' Noren cooed in his mind. 'I wonder where that fearless cub is? Hope he's not getting into too much trouble.' Noren worried for his little friend, as crazy as it seemed, kinda ruined his reputation here, but his fellow inmates don't care so that's good. Before long Noren had already devoured his meal. His eyes glancing around at the others, who were doing the same. The humans had entered and left quickly, locking the doors on the way out. Settling back down, Noren huffed before closing his eyes. Sleep was the only thing to keep them up and healthy at this point. exercise was not an option, it never was.

'Did I say you could ever stop training?' That ever so pestering voice called out to Dakota. His paws coming up to cover his ears trying desperately to ignore or shut out the voice. "I can't." was alll the youth replied. The voice sounded angry, snorting like a pissed off horse. 'How can you ever expect to go home like this. You're a weakling!' It snarled from Dakota's mind. Dakota was laying down, wishing he'd never had that nightmare. For now he was afraid to sleep, fearing that dream would return, or even worse become real. "Who is Archen?" Dakota asked, trying to change the subject, clenching his eyes shut as if expecting a scowl or smack across the face. 'That name does not matter anymore. Now pick your sorry worthless ass up and try again.' It snarled the last sentence, seemingly clawing at Dakota's brain. Now the teen or cub rather was sobbing, shaking from the sheer emotion. 'ARHH USELESS!' The still mysterious voice roared in outrage. Dakota flinched from the sudden angry statement, curling up in a fetal position, screaming quietly as the unknown owner of the voice started to pierce his mind. "Stop it hurts! It always hurts!" Dakota cried out, covering his eyes and temple now. In truth, the voice always scared Dakota, but it was right. It was always right. Listening to it was a reward when the fruits of his labor and actions relied on them. Not listening was bad, punishment enough, and it always led to trouble. "I'm sorry! I'll do it!" Dakota cried out again, getting up despite the pain the action was causing. And when he did, the voice calmed and stopped assaulting his mind. 'Good boy.' it said happily, obviously enjoying that small victory. The praising the voice offered was like candy. It was the best thing he could ever have or ask for. His father never praised him, and his mother rarely did either. The praise made a small smile crack on his expression, but it just as quickly left when the door to the room opened. Dakota's expression turned to nervousness mixed in with fear. Fear for who it could be.

Who it was, he had every right to fear. This bastard was crazy in Dakota's eyes. A bastard known as Jade. "Having a good stay I see." Jade chuckled, leaving the door open as he entered the room. Fearlessly walking up to the cage that held Dakota. Jade was taller than Dakota in height. The cub was only up to Jade's lower chest, and that was from his head. Just one thought crossed Dakota's mind as his obvious height disadvantage became known finally. 'Just wait till I'm full grown!' His mind hissed, eyes narrowing as Dakota sunk to the far end of the cage. Not liking having Jade come up and kneel down at the door to his confinement. "What do you say? Wanna go for a walk. If you're a good boy maybe I'll let you off the leash. After all good pets deserve a reward for good behavior." Jade said with some excitement. The human was treating Dakota, a very intelligent creature much like a dog! Dakota didn't like it one bit. However the phrase 'good boy' Struck hard when he realized he could get praised by someone else besides his voice friend. Unconsciously his tail started to wag, despite the painful device it carried. This got Jade to smile, and go for his keys, deciding that action was reason enough to let him out. However he had another motive for letting him out. And the 'walk' they would do was more like running for you're life.

Jade had hooked up a tough metal collar around Dakota's neck. It had a wire on the back, that stood up, with a red light by the base, beeping a red color every few seconds. To say Dakota didn't like it, he was also nervous about being led outside in a dome fence arena, and it had a small exit, big enough for a prong horn dakotian to fit through and that's saying something! The only other exit led back to that dreaded dark building. Jade pretty much treated Dakota like a dog, keeping him on a small chain as they neared the exit on the outside. A small group of... kids? Odd. The group looked like trainees. wearing light leather armor. Each had a weapon of sorts, possibly their own picks. All had either serious or excited faces on. However Dakota was far more interested in that exit, now that he was closed the cub realized it had a bull pen like cage, each with a way out on either side. He wasn't paying attention either when Jade was talking to the small group, and failed to fight back when he was forced into the bull pen, with the gate closing behind him. Looking around with panic, Dakota had to breath deeply at the sudden adrenaline rush. Once he did that, the cub took it upon himself to see what kind of threats may occur. "I'm going to release him here in a minute. Remember, you are not to kill him. Only catch him. If things get out of hand I will step in."Jade said firmly. 'I have a chance to get away!' Dakota beamed hopefully, pressing up against the gate wanting to get free. "He'll get a five minute head start." Dakota froze when he heard that, taking the time to see what he was up against. Four kids. Herne; stocky and muscular, blond haired and blue eyed. Carries a heavy sword, looks like the leader. The next Gali; has dark brown hair, grey steel eyes. This one was much skinnier, and taller at that. Possibly smart, also had a crossbow along with a quiver at his hip and throwing knives. The third Ivo; seems to be like the first, however he was skinnier but not by much. They kinda looked like brothers, except this one has light brown eyes, with a smaller faster looking sword. And lastly the fourth. Caine; A female, unlike the other three. Long reddish dark brown hair. Hazel eyes and a skinny build. From what Dakota could tell was, she would be at home in the forest, and the cub was sure he knew a tracker when he saw one, if the obvious hunting bow wasn't enough information. She also had a skinny saber like sword, reminded Dakota of Jade himself. "Alright, better run for your life Dakota!" Jade suddenly yells, causing Dakota to flinch and jump forward as soon as the gate opens. Oddly enough Dakota froze up, looking at all of them with stilted eyes, cautiously backing up, never letting his eyes off of them. He was panicking yes. 'Run now you fool!' The voice piped up again. The cub's eyes widening when Gali, who had his crossbow aimed at the cautious dakotian.

Instantly Dakota turned tail and sprinted off, keeping his wings closely wrapped to his sides. He wasn't much of a flier, so he naturally took to the ground. He was faster that way. And instead of running towards open plains, he sprinted off towards the heavily wooded area nearby. It looked like a redwood forest, giant thick trees everywhere and they blocked out the sun, giving him some cover in the dark forest. He'd never run this fast, let alone for his life. He was a top predator! This shouldn't be happening! Dakota was running blindly, his thoughts clouded everything else but to run, to flee. 'Use the trees, don't leave tracks.' Again the voice was telling him what to do, and not even thinking about it he obeyed. Climbing up a tree and using it to gain momentum  by jumping from tree to tree, side jumping so he didn't accidentally land on a branch and break it. No evidence could be found and this high up it should be hard to see any scratches. Dakota would glide every now and then, but he soon realized he was getting tired, and surely five minutes had passed. Then it dawned upon him. 'No one else could have escaped this situation.' Quickly he looked down and behind him, noticing old and outdated signs of battle. Yes, others had been put to this. 'No one can escape because they are too overwhelmed by the chance to escape.' Dakota growled quietly, looking down at his paws, he was angry. His kind had been tortured to think they had gotten away, only to have it  taken away. 'I should be  hiding out and moving when I'm rested enough.' His claws were digging into the tree branch he had perched on. Shaking his head out of irritation for the first time in his life. Little did Dakota know this would be a telltale habit of his. 'Time to turn the tables.' The voice spoke again, earning a grin from Dakota. "Let's turn the tables shall we?" He spoke aloud, before jumping off to a higher branch. Dakota's wing was still injured so he couldn't fly long. Once Dakota had found a suitable spot high up in a tree with a thick wide branch so he couldn't be seen from below or far away. Now it was time to wait. Wait and strike or wait and run. Minutes passed by and still no signs of the little group, which Dakota hoped was good. Making sure they weren't around, the youth leaped off the high branch, gliding to a slightly lower one on another tree a few meters away. Repeating this action till he was a couple hundred feet further away, hunkering down where he was. More time ticked by, and he was about to leap off to another tree when he caught site of the group. With Caine, the girl in front. She was pointed high up at the tree bark where Dakota had used to jump from tree to tree. 'Damn. She's good.' The young dakotian thought angrily, narrowing his eyes at them. Dakota's eyes widened in shock when the next thing she pointed at was the very spot he was hiding. Growling quietly he started to inch back, remaining as low as he could. They were running towards the tree he was hidden up in, he could hear them conversing, but not about what, that he didn't care about right now.

Jade had gotten his armor on and horse ready just in case something bad happened. However no incidents like that have ever happened before, but protocol was protocol. Rules were rules. He was leaning carefully on his steed, who merely stood there looking alert and ready to take off at a moment's notice. This of course was a different horse, and no cart was attached to it. This was Jade's personal steed and it was built for speed while retaining a good amount of muscle and stamina. A beautiful dark seal brown stallion along with a super dark brown mane and tail. And ever black eyes. The stallion held a fantastic arch in his neck, standing tall and proud, flicking his whip sounding tail around wildly. When the stallion snorted Jade smiled slightly and said "What?" Before pulling out a small device with a screen on it. No phones don't exist here, the device Jade was holding was a tracker that went with the collar he put on Dakota, showing him where that blasted cub was. When he took a glance at it his eyes widened in shock. And he quickly took a step away from his steed, pulling the device up closer to his face, like his eyes were playing tricks on him. "No, he should be much farther than that! Hell he should even be running!" Jade started to yell out with worry and fear. This got a look from his stallion who quickly looked away seeing it's owners mood. Jade had run over quickly, telling the nearest person where he was going, before grabbing his weaponry, slinging them over his back. Running back to his stallion, he fearlessly ran up right behind him, only turning so he could get to his side. Jade jumped on with little effort while he was in mid run, seating himself in the saddle before giving a rough kick. "Hya!" He called out to encourage his steed to get a move on, tracker device still in his free hand as he grabbed the reins with one. Rearing up mid way the stallion took off like a cheetah, moving quickly for a muscular horse. Jade needed a fast horse. Dakotians can easily outrun them in both speed and stamina. Especially Rapido Dakotians. His horse was moving around 56 miles per hour. A Dakotian can easily top that with an average speed of around 80, but again it depends on which species it is. "Come on Nash we need to go faster!" Jade spoke loudly, looking down at his horse, who tilted his head to eye it's owner. Nickering Nash did just that, pushing himself as hard as he could. After all, a happy owner was a good owner. Nash's tail was flagging high with pride, his mane reaching for Jade's determined face. Every now and then Jade looked down to gain where Dakota was exactly, clutching the device fiercely. 'I should've listened to Grim.' Jade thought, gritting his teeth at that. He hated to admit things, to admit his mistake. After all Jade was a top student and warrior and he rarely made any. 'I knew this one was different! He's too smart!'

The group of young trainees had definitely surprised the young cub in their skills. And the branch he'd chosen to hide up on was being assaulted with exploding weapons. Mainly arrows with bombs on them. This was ridiculous! His resting spot was giving way, ready to fall to the ever distant ground. The cracking of wood made it all too apparent that he needed to bounce and escape quickly. Growling out of annoyance he crouched down readying to jump. Then something hit his flank with much force. Earning a shocked and pain filled gasp as he was sent tumbling off the heavily assaulted branch. It took him a few seconds to right himself, but a few seconds was all it took for him to reach the ground. Luckily he righted himself much like a falling cat at the last second. Wincing when his body smacked the ground. Even if he spun around he didn't land on his feet. No he landed on his belly and it would surely bruise later on. The cub was blatantly aware that the team were celebrating their success in of getting Dakota off his safe haven. The one known as Herne came charging towards the fallen cub. Green eyes widened in fear as the broad sword came swinging without mercy. Wasn't he supposed to be unharmed? Or at least not dead!? Thinking quickly the dakotian rolled out of the way and before Dakota could counter  the look alike Ivo came charging, fully prepared to take a swing with his smaller faster sword. Dakota ended up jumping to his feet and out of the way in one go, hyperventilating from this experience. He'd never fought before, well fought against more than one being. Dakota had never had something fight back and therefore was considered a total rookie in actual combat. The only reason the cub was still alive was because he was the shadow dakotian, and without that he was doomed to lose. All his training in school was spent taking hits not giving them, mainly by bullies. Snarling out of annoyance he prepared to return the favor and attack back. He was stopped when he felt a  crossbow bolt his his shoulder. Screeching in pain and shock from the hit, he turned around and dashed away. Not even bothering to climb the trees or fight back. He needed to just get away and out of sight. Dakotians were much faster than mere humans so he lost them easily, and this feeling of safety and advantage lulled the cub into running blindly and in a straight line. Dakota only came out of the trance when he reached a secluded yet open area. About the size of  that terrifying black prison he'd been stuck in. Stopping directly in the middle of this peaceful opening where the big trees dared not touch. Where the sky was visible and screaming for Dakota to fly to. The cub was panting hard, yes he was tired even with his stamina however it appeared the youth was more panicked than tired in truth. If not for his hyperventilating it wouldn't be noticeable. The sun was beating down on his golden form, causing both relaxation and worry. Sitting down for a breather, the cub turned his attention to the contraption on his tail. He needed it off if he wanted to stand any chance. Without thinking it grabbed the object stuck on his long tail, claws scraping and digging at the shadow stone material. All of his training he'd undergone paid off to some degree. Dakota had managed to do at least something to it, causing cracks and cuts to appear on the tough material, and even managed to painfully remove the rods that impaled the tail and that were held by the clamp like object itself. Soon after  he was quickly becoming lax under the intense welcoming heat from the sun. This lax feeling was being caused by his need to heal. Dakota's body was screaming for him to stop and lay down, but it wasn't wise to do so not when he kept getting this feeling of being watched, despite his obvious distance between him and the group. Eventually his bodily needs won, causing the cub to collapse as if he were dying. His ever green eyes closing without hesitation. Deep breathing calmed down his panic to some degree his mind and body slipping into a small light sleep out in the open.

Jade was amazed on how far the 'hunt' had gone. Normally most dakotians didn't make it far. However over the course of this particular one it went far and slow. The warrior became aware of his steed laboring from exhaustion. Jade grit his teeth out of annoyance, the fact his steed, HIS Nash was tiring was grating his nerves. Perhaps he was utterly wrong by using this new dakotian in such a rough event. And it was stupid. Slowing Nash into a trot, Jade looked around the forest before deciding a quick break would do them both good. Hopping off his dark stallion. He didn't bother tethering him to anything. Nash was loyal as dog, and was trustworthy enough to let roam free. No doubt Nash has little Nashlets running around among the wild horse herds, that thought made the young hunter smile. Sighing as he slowly slide his back down a tree into a sitting position, taking a swig of water from his canteen. When Nash came over, Jade didn't even need to think or look, already knowing what his trusted steed needed. Cupping his hand, pouring some water into it, letting his dark colored horse drink greedily from it too. Patting his horse's nose, earning a nicker. A short break in Jade's mind was 30 minutes at most, this was because he was lazy at times and his horse needed to be in top shape to maintain a good speed. Indeed 30 minutes seemed enough as Nash appeared to be fine now and itching to go. Jade stood up silently, taking a quick gander at the device he was still clutching, making sure indeed nothing happened or changed. Oddly enough appeared Dakota hadn't moved during the duration of his break either. Lucky Jade. Wasting no time, the young hunter climbed up on his dark steed, giving a gentle kick and a 'yaah' sound as they once again took off.

Golden hide stuck out like a sore thumb when the sun shined it's undying light upon it. Deep breaths were taken by the sleeping cub, eyes closed yet he remained nearly half awake. Dakota's ears twitching and swiveling at every sound. His wounds were improving within the safety of the sun, and part of him wanted to lie there forever. However his wish won't be granted anytime soon. Dakota knew he was being watched for the past couple of minutes. The ever snapping of twigs and crunching of fallen leaves alerted him some time ago. Yet his pursuers didn't charge him. The feeling of them surrounding him was making his half sleeping state awaken more so. There was a chance he wouldn't be able to flee now. So why not feign sleep. Maybe catch them off guard while they thought an advantage was on their side. Something emerged from a bush at blazing speeds, the ever sound of an object zipping through the wind. The telltale noise of a weapon being fired not far from him. Green shining eyes opened before whatever it was left the bush. Body acting on complete instinct. Jumping upwards with one fell move. Untrained eyes scanning for the group of brats. Dakota's air time didn't last long, his body only just beginning to fall as the arrow swept past, digging it's head right into a poor tree. Dakota's inexperience caused him to relax thinking they'd wait or retreat, so he merely stood there, scanning the area with eyes and ears. Easily he became anxious and quite nervous, stamping his paws into the ground as he backed up against a tree for more cover. Before he knew it something rushed him, coming from a close by group of heavy bushes, leaves and branches giving way to the being's mass. The mass was none other than the largest of them all, and possibly the one Dakota didn't want to be left to fight; Herne. The heavy sword he carried took both of his arms and hands, slightly dragging behind him, ready to be swung. The sheer proximity of him was enough to cause Dakota to act like a deer in headlights, frozen with shock. Herne was upon him now, blade coming forward to cut into whatever it hit. Snapping out of it, he attempted to dodge, lunging to the side, getting some of his fur cut clean off in the process. The young cub could feel the warm and wet liquid spilling of of the decent graze. 'Sword sure is sharp, better take him down first' Was Dakota's first instinct and target. Claws ripping up the gentle grass as he skidded around the bulky human teen. The large weapon was slow to some degree, and hard to stop, causing a small grin to fill Dakota's expression. Herne's broad sword had cut him but it also cut into the tree. Now the human kid had to pry it out while his target was making the next move for sure. Eyes quickly trying to analyze any weakness that could be on this leader like human. Dakota wasn't aloud the time of day to do so, the obvious sound of footsteps charging towards the pair. Instantly his ears flew back to listen in on it, eyes and head only turning to face it afterwards. Apparently Ivo was making his move now, going for the defense. A well rounded team would be the right words for this group of kids. The much smaller and faster sword of Ivo's came swinging in the blink of an eye. Its speed was greater than the dakotian cub's. Yet Dakota managed to avoid the full blade. A cut appearing on his right cheek shortly after he turned to face the threat head on. He was full on snarling at Ivo, keeping an extra eye on Herne who now had successfully pried his  sword from the bark of the tree, and was now charging again, directly behind Ivo. Dakota readied himself to leap out of the way, two against one was not to his advantage nor his liking.

Another of the four young hunters popped out with decent speed, emerging from behind a bush and tree directly behind the young dakotian. Caine wasn't too far off by the time Dakota knew she was there, thin saber sword readied in one hand. Dakota definitely didn't like his three against one odds so far, and the fourth's location is still unknown to him. 'To your left.' The mysterious voice warned him, just in time to locate and dodge a fired crossbow bolt by jumping up in the air. The trio that had been charging him nearly crushed into one another. Yes a very well rounded team. For now Caine had whipped out her hunting bow, grabbing and firing an arrow with practiced skill and speed. Not as good as Gali but still good none the less. Dakota didn't have time to unfurl his wings and dodge with aerial maneuvers. The speeding arrow lodged it's way into the right side of his chest. Hissing in discomfort. Surely the cub wasn't used to such fast paced combat, he was still learning being so young as he was. He'd have to step his game up tenfold if he ever wanted to be free, let alone get revenge and not die in the process before he could even seek it out. Instinctively his wings opened up as he began to fall as gravity demanded his return to the ground. Weaving around more arrows and crossbow bolts. 'Try to break off the tail clamp kid.' The voice said with utter calmness, not even slightly worried about the situation, amused even. Green eyes narrowed on Herne, yes his sword might do the best if Dakota tried to break the object off. Flying around aiming for Herne's left side, Dakota did a front flip towards the bulky brut, tail flying forward seeking contact with the heavy blade. Contact was indeed made, Herne went for his tail, but it made contact with the metal clamp. The sound of metal against metal made a satisfying sound. Ivo sought out his chance to strike the young dakotian down, with Caine covering him with ranged attacks. Arrows flew past Ivo directly for Dakota himself. But the cub wasn't having it and quickly leaped back, rolling out of the way when more arrows shot towards him. Still the fourth known as Gali was no where to be found. 'More bolts coming your way kiddo.' Said the voice, now he sounded bored and it was starting to get on Dakota's nerves. The voice was vague about where they were coming from, but the cub took a wild guess and rolled out of the way as another bolt shot past his form. The three ahead of him jumped out of the way as it come  towards them. "Watch it Gali!" Caine was the first to bark out from the almost friendly fire. "Sorry!" Was all the hidden Gali said, but one word was enough for the cub. Ears immediately flying back towards his location. Grinning the cub whirled around and charged for his supposed hiding spot.
Gali was forced to evacuate his hiding spot at the first sight of the dakotian charging for him, crossbow still in his hand and loaded at that. When Gali side rolled out of the way he fired the loaded weapon. This bolt made its mark this time, landing in Dakota's lower left fore leg. The cub grunted from the sudden shock of being hit with such force and faltered for a mere couple seconds. When he looked sideways to see if the other three were coming at him again he panicked, seeing the three closing in with a fanned out movement pattern. Gali wasn't far now as he kept up his pace, struggling to get another bolt loaded into his weapon. No Dakota wouldn't have that at all. 'Use your wings to knock them down.' Advice was given again from the  voice, and the more it talked to Dakota the more convinced he was of it being a very experienced fighter. It was for the first time any information to have leaked out of this mysterious being. Spreading out his wings Dakota purposely ran slightly past Gali, the kid's eyes widening in slight confusion. However that confusion was turned into one of fear when all for kids noticed the ever strong pair of wings fly forward, the left one slamming into Gali with such force. Knocking the kid back a few yards, his weapon left where Gali used to be. All four seemed frozen in shock, with Gali being the only one trying to deal with pain. Ivo was the first to snap out of his shock, readying his sword and charged towards Dakota's backside. The dakotian only spun around when the next challenger neared him, tail flying towards the sword like last time. The sound of metal making contact with such force was heard once again, and from the looks of it the clamp wouldn't last much longer, which meant the cub had a chance! With Ivo busy holding his sword in place trying to push the tail back Dakota took the time to do the same trick that he did with Gali. This time spinning in a wing sweep aiming for Ivo's legs. The teen was knocked flat of his feet, landing on his back with a thud and gasp, sword still in hand but now being used to keep the dakotian from ripping him to shreds. Dakota took action, and advantage of the still two frozen trainees, who were still trying to get out of their daze, and the fact that Ivo was at his feet. Jumping on the kid, holding the sword roughly in his jaws, trying to pry it away from him. Blood was seeping out of the dakotian's mouth, some spilling onto the kid's chest and face. Ivo's own blood was mixed in there, from one of his hands that held up the sharp bladed part. For the first time Dakota relived the feeling of being feared so much, tears coming from Ivo's eyes, like the kid had a good feeling he would die young, here and now. That look caused Dakota to stop, staring down at the writhing and struggling kids face. "C-caine!" Was all that Ivo said, crying out of the girl to do something. Both Caine and Herne snapped out of their trance and took action immediately. The young huntress pulled out two arrows, firing them in unison as Herne warily but quickly charged to his friend or brother's aid. Dakota was sure they were related. Panicking Dakota attempted to move off from on top of Ivo, just barely dodging the arrows, mouth opening up to release Ivo's blade. Thinking on his feet, Ivo swung the blade towards Dakota's face immediately after it was freed, making a semi deep gash over the cub's right side of his face. One paw coming up to hold the fresh wound to his head. Ivo moved out of the way and dashed towards Gali's crossbow, snagging on to it then running to Caine's side who was now firing arrows again. Some managed to hit Dakota on his right side, the worst being the one on his upper right hide leg. Herne was closing in with caution in this time. However this time Dakota was the first to try and make a move, coming in as he attempted to knock the brute off his feet with his left wing. It didn't do much, only pushed the brut teen back a few steps, only then unleashing his heavy sword towards the dakotian. With surprising speed Dakota spun around, bringing the clamp on his tail into contact with the heavy blade's full force. Right then and there the object on his tail gave way to the immense pressure it had been receiving, it snapping in half as it fell off the tail of Dakota. Gali had finally stood up, one hand clutching his right arm, most likely because it was broken or something, and the obvious reddened tear filled face he had on.

Everything seemed to be happening so fast, the sound of a horse galloping sounded as Jade made his entrance, leaping off his steed towards the only one on his own; Gali. Ignoring the fact that this team took a beating and instead focused on the broken clamp at Herne's feet. Dakota leaped backwards, grinning at his success, mentally thanking his voice friend for the help. The sun was beating down on the opening in the forest, but the sky got somewhat darker when Dakota majestically spread his wings, his pose proud. The pose he was holding made the cub look like an experienced fighter, and it made him seem larger, but he still wasn't to his full size, almost there but not at the same time. Green eyes shifting towards a pupil-less glowing red color. His body turning a void black with smoke seeping out of it. His horns, claws, wings and tail tip turned blood red. The group that now consisted of five froze upon the sight they were seeing. "Shadow Dakotian..." One of them mumbled. And it was said by Jade.

Since I got the idea to tell you all exactly HOW I draw from step to step here it is. Don't judge o3o

Normally I will start from scratch ON the computer, However some do start ON paper and FROM my sketch books. So there will be two methods/step parts.

And for some reason I do better when I start on paper o.o

METHOD ONE: START FROM PAPER
  1. Draw rough sketch on paper
  2. Work on details after rough sketch is completed
  3. (OPTIONAL) Outline with a pen or sharpie then erase pencil markings
  4. Take a picture/transfer to my computer and on to paint tool sai
  5. start drawing the final sketch into a full clean lineart
  6. Upload ref or not, doesn't matter, then start working on the base colors.
  7. Add shading and lighting
  8. Open paintstorm studio
  9. Make the background if needed and save it as a psd
  10. Upload the background to paint tool sai and fit it to the drawing
  11. Make some adjustments and save

METHOD TWO: START FROM SCRATCH
  1. Draw rough sketch on paint tool sai
  2. Clean it up if needed and make it semi transparent
  3. Now draw the final lineart of it
  4. Once done start making some adjustments if needed
  5. Now for the fun part, start the base colors
  6. Shade and add lighting to it
  7. If needing a background, open up paintstorm studio, or what ever you use or like cause whatever
  8. Make the background and save it, then add it to paint tool sai
  9. Apply the background to the piece you are currently working on
  10. Make some adjustments on the background if needed
  11. Save it!

Well thats about it. Thats how I do it, kinda boring to read right? Eh... I've done these steps so much it takes me half the time to finish something like that.
Questions and answers on my, my characters or  anything else related to that manner. if theres a question I have not answered please ask away :D

1. Redwolfless, why do you not reply to me if I watched you?
Alright this is embarrassing, I didn't know how to at first, and well not its kinda a habit not to, but I can try harder. Also I don't want to clog up anyways deviant art page xD

2. Why are there sub-species of Dakotians?
Simple, humans aren't all the same right? We are all different. Also think of it as something like a bird. There are so many diverse species of birds. Same as mammals, like dogs or cats.

3. Why are Dakotians so op(over powered)?
They really aren't, in  their world/dimension everything is heightened. They also have different abilities and powers with the sub-species. They also have plenty of weaknesses that can be exploited.

4. Why are you called Redwolfless?
Well not entirely sure, just something I came up with. You know, like everyone needs their own trademark/name right?

5. What art programs do you use?
Paint Tool Sai, Clip Studio Paint Pro, and Paintstorm Studio!

6. What made you make Dakotians?
This is something I kept secret for a longtime. I made them when I was 5 years old. The purpose was to deal with stress and autism, since I struggled to deal with it properly. Heres something funny, Dakotians never got their name till I decided to let people know about them. They also never used to have wings haha, imagine that. So when ever I got stressed out, I'd just blank out and daydream about them. Honestly I envy them, if I could be one I would! Would you want to be one?

7. Which character/dakotian did you make first?
Dakota... To be honest he was based off my personality and need to be helpful. Skylar was based off my brother the real Skylar xD

8. What music band(s) do you listen to?
Ready for a list haha xD Nine Lashes,Skillet,Linkin Park,Three days grace,Disturbed,Sick Puppies,Papa Roach,Nightwish,Evanesence,Red,Icon for Hire,Breaking Benjamin,Bruno Mars,Eagles,Creed,Fireflight,Nickleback,Otherwise,Thousand Foot Krutch,,Starset, and some remixes on youtube :)

9. Whats my favorite animal(s)?
Horse,Wolf,peregrine falcon, and big cats!

10.What is your favorite color
Either black or purple! Its a pretty close match.

 11. Do you like video games or is art just your one thing?
I LOOOOOVVVEEE Video games! Art is right behind it.

12. Since Dakotians exist in their own dimension does that mean other dimensions exist? Can they travel to them?
Yes others exist. Think of it more like a crossover. A select few can travel through them. That select few is in the royal family. And opening a portal can exhaust a tremendous amount of energy. Traveling worlds is prohibited unless the need arises. This is how Dakotians managed to get to their own world, they escaped from the original human world to avoid extinction. Humans also followed them. This is why remnants of technology is limited.

13. What tv shows do you watch and like?
Teenwolf, and a few kid cartoons... don't ask, I'm still a child at heart!
If you ever find yourself having to fight Dakota, know your  enemy hehe
Here you will learn how he fights and what his skills and weaknesses are!

DAKOTA

Fighting Style: Defensive up close evasive actions. Will change into offensive when the enemy tires. Uses Ki attacks in shadow form, but only to help with up close attacks, rarely ever uses long range. Uses tricking methods in shadow form. On rare occasions(if the enemy is of dire threat) he will start out as extremely aggressive offense attacks with powerful fatal blows. Faster and does less damage in shadow  form. Strong and slower attacks in his normal form. Dakota prefers to wait then strike when the time is perfect. Handles pain pretty well, use annoying quips to throw his composure off, using family or friends as a hostiage work as well if not better. Keep distance and use long ranged attacks, Dakota will try to close he gap, you must keep the gap large or the fight will be in his favor. Fight in the air if possible, Dakota is much less experience in air combat. Stay away from head and wings, go for the tail, do not let your eyesight off of him when the tail is wide open, it is most likely a trick.

Senses:
Hearing-His hearing his his best skill, his ears are very powerful, allowing him to pick up the slightest sound. Dakota will use this a lot, he mainly relies on this sense and this sense alone, giving him the ability to use his hearing to detect vibrations, so he doesn't need his eyes. Tips: Ears are sensitive, high pitched noises can distract and disorent him. His ears are weak to the touch. use light and weak attacks to refrain from too much noise, stealth will be your best friend
Smell-Dakota cannot smell, his noise is completly useless other than breathing through it. Tips: Stay downwind of him, trying to confuse him with intense smells will not work.
Sight-His sight is horrible, but it is also movement based,so even if its blurry and something moves he will know of it, just not the exact location. He is very observant but refrains on using it too much. Tips: Remain still and at a far distance, keep out of his line of sight.
Touch-Dakota is not very sensitive when it comes to touch, giving him a pretty good pain tolerance. His fur and hide are thick giving him a good advantage. Tips: if possible use deep and strong attacks, many injuries will be required to get him to start to feel weak.

Abilities:
Stamina-His stamina is his best physical quaility. He can battle and exersise for hours at a time without slowing down or tiring. Tips: Best to refrain from using too much stamina, do not attack him, he will get unpactient and attack you instead, this will give you the oppertunity to attack. Rinse and repeat if he falls for it, but that won't work forever, use his weaknesses against him in your favor.
Strength-Dakota's strength is impressive, it helps with his stamina. His powerful blows are very bad news if your caught in the crossfire, however he always restrains himself from doing too much damage. Tips: better to be faster than him in his normal form, keep away from wings, head and back legs.
Intelligence-He has a slightly above intelligence when it comes to technology or common knownledge, he can sometimes have trouble rememering your skills and weaknesses. He adapts fast once he catches on, but his intelligence is more on dakotian culture and fighting styles for his own use, though he forgets many, he will remember if it interests him or benifets him for long term. Tips: Know your enemy well, being smarter than him will give you the advantage but not for long once he catches on to your fighting style.
Flying-This skill is just below average for him, he uses his wings for fighting and balance. Tips: Use flight in battle, keep long distance too.
Ki Power-He has great ki power, but prefers not to use it, however if he does it won't be long range, he will use it to strengthen his quick and slow attacks. Tips: Use long range and stay away from him in close combat.
Shadow Dakotian Form-This is something he inheirited, and something he was blessed/cursed with. He prefers not to use this form as it is easy to loose control, and he must use most of his ki power to keep himself from that. Dakota becomes leaner and faster, and his flight will increase, dense forests will be his friend in this. His attacks become slightly weaker but his ki power increases tremendously, sitll he will use close combat. Tips:Try not to fight him in this form, avoid close combat and use ariel in open places, long ranged attacks as well.

Preferred Melee Attacks:
Wing Attacks-Uses them in close range, do not charge head on, he uses them to knock his enemy off balance, also uses them to land striking fast blows, sometimes in a sweep or spin. Tips: He is wide open once he is almost donw with the sweep/spin attack, Attack from.
Tail Attacks-Often used as a distraction(since tails are a weak point) or to grip things. Tips: Do not go for the tail at close range, use distance attacks, go for the tail tip not the base of his tail. Do not fall for this destration, he often uses it when your in front of him. He will let his tail wide around, do not turn around after it, this will leave your tail and yourself open for a close ranged attack that could often the deciding move of a battle.
Tooth and Claw-Jaws are very powerful, thick jaw muscles and a wide head with large teeth can be devistating if caught in the cross fire. Claws are medium sized, not too dangerous, used for defense in swatting you away or for a fast attack, they do not leave deep wounds. Tips: Avoid attacking head on, try arial combat tactics and attack from above. Best to try from behind or above. Hind legs are more powerful than front legs. If given the chance to attack the front legs do it, they are weaker and could cause him to colpase, but make sure his hind legs are busy to avoid him rearing up.
Horn Attacks- He rarely will use this, althought his ramming skills are undesiplened his horns are powerful enough to send you flying back a few feet. Tips: Avoid ramming him back unless you have greater power in this, when he is charging dodge and attack, but he will recover quickly so dodge the first attack after the ramming then attack.

Preferred Ki Attacks:
Iron Rage-This attack can only  be preformed while in his normal form. This attack will make him invincible for exactly 15 seconds and he will be as strong as Iron, his whole body will light up in white/silver.He will become stronger and faster. But he can only use it when you have his blood on you or this attack will fail and take its recoil damage instead. After the 15 seconds he becomes incompacitated, unable to defend himself as he gets hurt by this attack. He will use most of the time to attack, using the last few seconds to move away. The side effects will last for about 10 seconds and takes a good amount of concentration and ki to preform. Tips: Keep away and try to prevent him from using this attack by distracting him. Attack afterwards when he is dealing with the side effects.
Blood Rage-A step up from Iron Rage, this attack can only be preformed in his shadow form, but it requires double the effort to use it, this attack will last for 30 seconds, and he will have the same side effects as Iron Rage but it will be doubled. 20 seconds will be needed for him to fully recover. This attack is very obvious when he begins to use it, his whole body will turn a glowing red. He only uses this as a last ditch effort before he crumbles, this attack saves him a lot. Tips: Same as Iron Rage, this attack is very strong so try to stay away.
Last Resort-This attack is a go to plan if everything else fails. It acts like a tsunami of energy which is hard to see, it resembles appearence that of a sonic boom. This attack will sweep within a 15 mile radius, and will return like a boomerrank. Dakota will loose a lot of strength when launching this, and it will return withing seconds. If Dakota is still within it's attack range he will get hurt as well. This attack is very tall and as it is used it retains is cicular curve as its launched. Since this attack is basically like a nuke Dakota hates to use it, only if he is going to die. Tips: Use arial evasive skills to avoid this attack, you need to be fast to avoid it with it's speed. Once out of the way try to prevent Dakota from escaping its reach, he will get hurt badly, but watch out as it returns.
Gyro Blast-A common ki attack, this ball of energy crackles with elctric waves, the color of this sphere will be determined on the users Ki/aura. Dakota will use this in close range, and instead of throwing it he will  pin you down and bite you while he still has it between his jaws. Tips: keep distance, but he might throw it then, still would be easier to dodge

Weakspots:
Neck-the back of his neck is where most of his nerves are, slicing his nape could cause temorary confusion and imobalize him for a bit until it heals. The muscles protecting it may make it hard.Tips: Try to go for his nape when he is busy or distracted, also make sure to keep your nape safe if you are a dakotian, this is a general weakspot
Tail-The tail like all dakotians is a weakness, the base of their tails will not have as much of an effect, go for thr tailtip. If the tail is cut off they will  grow back.. eventually.

In a world parallel to earth there lives several species of creatures beyond human understanding. Big lion like beasts equipped with a long sharp tail, huge wings, jagged claws and fangs, horns of gold and silver, and golden fur. Their powers are almost limitless. They are known as Dakotians. However there are many subspecies that may not be gold and tend to have their own flaws and abilities. Many of which have their own territories, but the Golden Horns rule above all currently, united together to defeat a common enemy. They are currently ruled by Lord Dakota and Lord Skylar whom share the responsibility of possessing two ancient powers and protecting their home as brothers. Long before they came to rule and before their father an evil power reigned over their home...

A long time ago a ruthless ruler known as King Archen reigned supreme and spread his evil dark powers to control the kingdom. Many challengers faced him in order to restore balance, but none prevailed, for Archen possessed the power of the Shadow Dakotian. Although Archen wasn't always evil. When he was young he was shunned away due to him being the Shadow Dakotian. Along that dark lonely path he fell in love with a young teenager about his age. She was known as Armata the Heaven Dakotian. Armata was to be the ruler, she was next in line to become the protector and ruler of the kingdom. They spent many years together and they quickly fell in love and married when they became adults. They were both like yin and yang, not meant to be friends or mates. Armata knew she had to dispose of Archen due to them being mortal enemies, but how could she? She loved him, and he loved her. They ruled the kingdom together bringing peace and balance to their world. But this was not meant to be. Shortly after they had a child, Archen turned cold, he excluded himself from any kin to kin activity. Until one day he snapped. His rage seemed to be never ending as well as his power. Armata loved him and she believed he wasn't like the Shadow Dakotians before him. Archen's anger and greed forced him to lash out at his mate and his son. Armata and Archen fought endlessly for two hundred hours. Finally he overpowered her, killing her in front of their newborn son. When his mate was out of the way he focused on his child, walking slowly towards him with blood red eyes, and a huge cloud of black suffocating smog. Archen charged towards the child only managing to cut his eye before disappearing in the smog.

Their child became an orphan, The caretakers of the castle named him slice, and as soon as he could take care of himself as well as fight and fly, he was announced the new king. Slice grew up having to make decisions for war, peace and his kingdom's needs, as well as protect his kin from invading humans that followed his kin to this world. He fell in love with a noble from far away named Sakura. They married and ruled from that point on...

Slice and Sakura had a child, and that was the infamous Dakota. As the years went on Dakota never grew that much, for he whom was the prince was also a runt. In fighting school he was bullied by his older kin. They mocked him because he was a runt. Dakota grew and grew as well as his power. He used to share and do everything with his parents, but he became more secretive because of this strange cloud and the surge of the Shadow Dakotian power awakening. He was scared, he knew what he was becoming and thought of how his father would react. His power kept growing and growing. Thus it became harder to conceal the power and he smog grew bigger and more quickly the more Dakota tried to deny its mourning for him.

One day Slice noticed something in the halls of his castle that brought back painful flashes of his parents. It was black smog floating in the halls and leaking out of a room. Slice followed it to the source carefully holding his breath in the thickest parts of the cloud. Slice opened the door only to find his son cowering in a the middle of the room looking at his father. Slice stared motionlessly in his son's eyes. Red blood, pupiless eyes looked back in return, they were Dakota's. His fur was like it was charred after a heavy forest fire, pitch black and a thick cloud of smog hung around Dakota. The only sound was Dakota yelling "Dad! Get back please, the fog don't breath it!" Dakota sobbed and cried. This crying traveled down the hall and attracted Sakura. She ran to where the crying came from. Slice snapped at her growling "Get Back!" he yelled. Her only response was "Slice please don't do this, he's our son." Slice ignored her plea and called for his guards. Slice and his guards had seized Dakota carefully putting a stone known as shadow stone, a rock that of a single touch would render a Dakotian powerless until they let go of this dangerous rock. Dakota was to be killed on the spot after the hearing . Sakura's heart was slowly and painfully breaking, she cried and cried during the trial. Dakota heard all the voices talking about how and when they will kill him, but he paid no attention to those sounds, he couldn't help not to hear his mother's crying. There was not much Dakota could do, it aggravated him to the point where his heart raged for his mother and gave him a huge surge of power. This surge of power was like feeding him and he loved it. Dakota quickly gathered anger and greed under the surface of his skin. He spoke out towards the crowd and his father "How touching, you talk to each other about peace and safety with no sadness and despair. Well hows this for your conversation...YOU IGNORE MY MOTHER'S SADNESS AND DESPAIR... only to talk on and on about no sadness and despair! You all make me sick." Dakota stood up and his fur was turning black, his eyes glowed like red fireflies as black smog began to fill the room. Suddenly the crowd started screaming and only Slice remained calm. The shadow stone chains began to snap and crumble into dust. The guards ready to attack charged into the smog only to be battered around and thrown out of the cloud in which they laid motionless slowly suffocating. A pair of red eyes gleamed at Slice whom still was calm with Sakura frozen in fear next to him. More guards came and cleared the cloud with their speed, then charged in towards Dakota. This time Dakota did not touch them, the smog formed back in one big chunk of smoke and attacked the guards on its own, entering their lungs and suffocating them. Dakota laughed at the pain and chaos he caused, it was like eating something sweet and wanting more and more. Dakota flew up and out of the stained glass window above Slice's throne. Like a bird of prey, he soared high in the sky above his kingdom one last time, it would surely end in his death if he stayed. Dakota dared not to look back, he feared that disappointed scowl his father would always give him. He would hear the sound of wings behind him. Dakota growled “what now…” as he spun around now soaring upside down as he looked back, they were closer than he had thought. He smirked and folded his wings, diving downward while, when something snapped in his mind and directed him on what to do. Immediately he opened his wings now quite low from them. The black cloud appeared from way above and formed a dummy copy parallel to himself. Dakota slowed himself down, his pursuers now gaining on him, with confident smirks on their faces. A shimmer of shadow clouds sparked as his attackers collided and Dakota burst into a shadow which disappeared. A shadow loomed over his pursuers that was closing fast and hard. One of them looked up, his eyes turning to slits as he yelled in horror “LOOK OUT!” The other snarled, when he too had his eyes turn into slits as the sound of claws slashing a throat. Blood splattered on Dakota’s face as he held the Dakotian in his talons, he breathed a black could into the dying dakotian’s lungs to finish the job, slamming the dying dakotian into the ground. Dakota snarled now racing after the terrified attacker. The dakotian screamed in terror as Dakota pinned him almost instantly. A smile came on Dakota’s face as he spoke in an echoed demonic voice. “IT’s your lucky day…. What's your name?” Dakota snarled “It… doesn’t matter, run away…. Tell my father I take my leave, and when I come back he WILL DIE!!!” Dakota roared as slashed at the Dakotians wing shredding it mercilessly , then taking off. The fearful dakotian scrambled to his feet, his outside dew claws raking up the dirt giving him a boost as he ran, his bad wing dragging helplessly. Dakota clawed at the top of a massive cliff. This was a famous cliff, a landmark and boarder that marked the edge of king Slice’s kingdom. Dakota turned around facing off the cliff as the sun began to set behind him. Tears would fall down his face as he spoke in his own voice weakly. “Goodbye….. Father, I’m sorry… I… I couldn’t meet to your standards.” As he spokes a voice spoke to him. “Go Dakota.. Train until your bones break… your soul snaps and your power rages… then call to me and together we will take back our home….” Dakota didn’t question the voice… he WANTED revenge and would follow that voice to his death if he had to….

Khar would look around, his ears perked as he inspected a rather fantastic plan he'd come up with. His gaze would swirl around to notice that Domino was just sitting here, in a brooding manner of silence and nothing more. Eye contact between the two forced a smile from Khar as Domino merely stared, a somewhat bored expression riddled on his face. Khar spoke out in a loud quite sarcastic voice. "You know... You get quite boring just sitting there and staring... How about a chat buddy O' pal?" A sneer showed very visible after Khar spoke those words. Domino hardened his glaring and merely snorted, smoke coming from both his mouth and nostrils. Domino would switch to a different sitting position, glancing around before inspecting his fangs to make sure they were still intact. This did not help or make Khar stop his pressing, and caused him to prance walk forward, coming face to face with his quiet accomplice. "Sorry didn't quite catch that Domino, can you speak a bit louder?" Khar sneered, and would press his ear closer as if waiting and both taunting Domino. A response came, but not what Khar wanted... or knew that he would get what he wanted. Domino rolled his eyes as he flicked Khar's ear, a hostile frown that seemed to scream "Stop it you imbecile you know I can't talk!" Khar held a gentle grip on his ear, letting a snarl erupt from his vocals. Domino opened his mouth as if laughing but only silence came out, oh how funny he always thought Khar was when he was upset. Khar loosened his expression as he spoke in a soft tone. "I bet your thinking of how I still don't get the bigger picture..." Domino merely said nothing nor could he "...." And thus Khar continued. "But can't you just do something, wave a claw.... tail... anything?!" Domino's response was just sitting in silence "...." Khar gave a look of dismay "Uhh... hows the assassin job coming?" "...." Domino looked seemingly bored and would go to inspect his claws yet again... as if urging Khar to speak more. "Your looking rather clean today... no killing or did you forget your list back at home?" Khar would joke. This time domino shrugged as a small grin was coming up on his toothless muzzle. "...." Khar grunted which sounded like more of a sigh that he'd given up on their little 'pep talk'. "Fine fine... Thanks for the pep talk pal.." He said in a sad rugged voice as he left the room. Domino would think 'HA finally... Maybe I should go follow him before he throws himself off a cliff...' Domino would press a few of his talons on his chin and think for a minute 'NAH... Let him fall, who cares! One less person to kill.' Domino would too leave but turn down another hall as he decided he had better things to do.
Heres some attacks known to be used by dakotians

Most famous is the Gyro Blast: Used by almost all dakotian species,  this ball of fury is a great offense and defense attack. It comes in some colors depending of the aura of the dakotian. Normally the base is a somewhat mixed shades of a color and the electric bolts are a complete opposite color. Tho not a very strong attack it can be used many times due to its low ki cost of energy. This attack is formed from the mouth and can come in a range of sizes. The larger the attack the longer it takes to charge and the more energy it needs.

Veno Shock: Is a strong powerful wave of electric static that is the color of the users aura. It takes a lot of ki to use this and is normally used for defense.

Monsoon Blaze: An enhanced version of the average fire power of a dakotian. This will appear as a normal flame with more intense heat. Costs more energy though.

True Assault: An attack very much like Brave bird (from pokemon) This attack will start in the air as the user surrounds their self in a wave of ki, this attack is a last resort because it will severity incapacitate the user. Its extreme speed is very dangerous when it impacts with its target.

Last Resort:
A legendary attack used by Lord Dakota. This attack released a massive air wave that will ONLY attack evil and can only be used if Dakota is good. It will fail if he is not good. This attack will spread across the world and it will bounce back almost instantaneously and if the user is not out of the way which is up they will get hurt and nearly killed. This attack takes a TREMENDOUS amount of energy to pull off and it would take a long time to recover if hurt during this attack.

Iron Rage: This attack was created by Lord Dakota during his time in banishment with Jade. It took him many tries to succeed. This attack makes the user invincible as it turns the horns, tail, claws, teeth and wings into pure iron and can only be used once your opponent MUST be marked with your blood or it WILL fail. Sadly this attack uses way to much energy and will only last 15 seconds, however strength, and speed are enhanced greatly with a price.... If the user is not far enough way when the time runs out. The user will become immobilized and useless for a about a minute before they recover. However Dakota cannot turn into a Shadow Dakotian to use this attack and MUST be in his normal form to use it.

Blood Rage: An upgrade from Iron Rage used be Dakota, This one allows him to use a better stronger version as a Shadow Dakotian. The time allowed to use it doubles to 30 seconds and the strength and speed doubles too. However the whole body turns red instead of iron claws, teeth, wings, and tail. Dakota will also have invincibility but be enveloped in a red flame and this attack must be done as a Shadow Dakotian or it will turn out as a Iron Rage

In a world parallel to earth there lives several species of creatures beyond human understanding. Big lion like beasts equipped with a long sharp tail, huge wings, jagged claws and fangs, horns of gold and silver, and golden fur. Their powers are almost limitless. They are known as Dakotians.

Here are some strange and terrifying diseases and Illnesses that Dakotians can contract!!!

Jakarta Plague: A rare disease that comes from dead Dakotian's that have recently been infected from a bacteria called Jakartanis. Symptoms include: Muscle loss,Ravinonus appetite, and extreme nightmares that will not allow the subject to sleep. Symptoms may not appear until a few days. Infected Dakotian's act like no one is there and may not see anyone at all. They will die within 3 weeks of being infected or less. It will attack the brain in it's final stage disable movement and bowl functions.

Red Blight Flu: This is a gene Disease that can come from your parents or you could just randomly get it. Red Blight Flu is named because of the symptoms : Red inflamed eyes and throat. Stiff joints, Irritation to the color red. Loss of fur. The need to scratch your fur off. This can be cured and it can be gotten rid of, although it is not very deadly it can still kill a Dakotian if not treated, it would last a couple of months till the victim just goes nuts

Deteriorating Cardiovascular: A Heart Disease that is quite uncommon and very hard to treat. It however cannot be cured but treated with medicine. A Dakotian may experience that of a heart attack but it will not kill them as quickly. The attack would last a couple of days before it's victim died a horrible painful death. Muscle Spasms, Loss of mobility. Unconsciousness may happen depending how the pain tolerance of the victim is. Anti bodies will attack the heart which is not helpful and is deadly. Blood cells stop carrying oxygen after 6 to 8 hours of pain. A coma will happen if treated with the medicine (Dakota actually gets this in his mid life years but survives)
The sight of Jet's eating ritual gave Elidora queasy cramps all day, She has even left half her food in the wooden bucket, which made Axel and Zander displeased and worried. Red worried as well, his loving nature had made Elidora feel comfortable. Elidora had felt grumpy all morning, she was still covered in mud and blood stains with hay stuck in her mane and tail. Her ears and head perked up warily as Zander came in and had entered her pen and set down a rag and water filled bucket, He had locked the gate behind her as well as locked the barn doors to prevent her escaping. As the man came closer with a rope she had a quick flash back of what had happened to her sire, deep in thought she remembered what she had missed in that memory... Zander had the gun and had killed Bruce mercilessly. And that memory left a grudge and hatred of Zander. Elidora lifted her front legs that were hobbled and tried to knock Zander off his legs. Sadly she missed and she almost fell down herself, she pulled her ears back as far as she could, keeping her eyes on him and her front facing him as he attempted to touch her hide with the rag. Zander stopped and gazed into her eyes that blazed with anger and fear. he set the rag down into the bucket and said something that made no sense to Elidora. "Easy, I won't bother you now, I know girl, I'm sorry." He whispered in a calm voice and left, placing the bucket just outside her stall and locked her pen then left. Elidora snorted trying to hit him droplets of watery liquid that came from her nose. Red looked at Elidora and said "Don't think he will leave every time because he won't, he feels sorry for doing what he had to do at the valley." Elidora looked at him with great confusion. "And how would you know?" She growled under her snorting. "Because many wild horse have tried and done that over and over and eventually he stopped doing what "they" wanted and did what "he" wanted." Jet spat out looking up at the ceiling of the barn as some hay glided down, his lips and tongue trying desperately to grab it but failed. Elidora looked skeptical and asked "How do you know all this?" Red gave a smile and replied "Because once you've been with a human long enough you get a knack for reading their body language and voices." Elidora's ears perked up as she heard Meska throwing a tantrum outside as Zander had went to her instead. Elidora was sure she heard Meska howl "Elidora your gonna pay for pawning him off on me!" Elidora's head and pride dropped as she felt guilty all over again. Red perked his ears as Axel crept in with some treats that were orange and red. Jet jumped up and down with his front legs as he lipped up the treat that was offered to him. Red gently bit the red object ironically and ate it, which left Elidora who glared at the kid with her head tilted up. Her eyes softened when he smiled and held the treat in his palm with his hand flat. For the first time since she had gotten here her eyes looked welcoming and peaceful. She flared her nostrils sending a wave of hot air into Axel, he gave a small giggle and left the treat on top of the gate. As it balanced there Axel took a step back and gave some to the cow. Elidora leaned forward and asked Red "Is it safe?" Jet drooled on his gate and asked "If you don't want it can I have it?" Red sent a scornful glare at Jet then said "Yes, its safe to eat, its called a carrot I think, sweet tasting, Next time you can have the apple since Axel has to trade gold round things for them." That made Elidora smile. Jet snorted and gasped "BUT NEXT TIME I GET IT" Red frowned and said "Company means priority Jet, remember that."
Later that morning Zander came back in, Axel had left for school, Jet had left with him, Red was also no where to be seen. Zander came in with some grain, and a rope, then gently unlocked the gate and reached for Elidora. Elidora gave a stomp and lifted her head up with ears laid back against her neck. Zander kept reaching for her and grabbed the rope tied around her neck and connected it to his rope. He showed no fear and that set Elidora off. She flung her tail around, nostrils flaring as she snorted angrily. Zander held on to the rope as Elidora yanked and thrashed around while being led outside. There was a new pen with it's gate wide open right next to Meska's pen. There was not much she could do, her legs were still hobbled, she was all sore and covered in filth from last night and her fight with Meska this morning. Zander was strong, and he had an advantage over her. Once she was well enough in Zander dropped the rope and quickly shut the gate and locked it, they were both in there and Meska gave a glare and smirked at Elidora as if she were amused. Red was tied down and tacked up just in case. Zander had made sure this pen was taller and stronger just for Elidora. Red watched on as Elidora and Zander seemed to have a staring contest that lasted for three minutes. Zander moved over to the fence and picked up another rope, along with another one of those head things that Red had on and the one Jet has. Elidora eyed it nervously, there was a metal part that went over the tongue with straps connected to it. Zander too a few steps closer, immediately Elidora's ears flew back and her rear leaned against the fencing. She turned her eyes over to Meska whom looked pleased for what ever was about to happen. Meska seemed like she had went through a lot when Zander was working with her, she looked raged and had markings that were long and thin, like some sort of wind or whip. Zander started swirling the rope as he moved closer, he angled it to the side so Elidora had no where to go but forward. Elidora stayed put and Meska laughed mocking her. Zander dropped the extra rope as Elidora's attention turned to Meska. Before Elidora knew it she was being tugged toward Zander as he held the rope tightly and was closing the gap between him and Elidora. She barely had time to react to Zander quick moves, and he had already secured her head and was now forcing the bridle on, holding her lower jaw open as the metal fitted in and the leather straps went over her head. It seemed that Zander knew she would take her attention to Red and Meska, a clever plan and it worked. Elidora jerked free with the bridle completely on over the rope halter, her lips curling as the metal was on her tongue. It tasted weird, and the bridle felt weird and comfortable over her head. Elidora threw her head around, the reins lashing her side and nearly hitting Zander as he moved to her side. Red kept himself still and quiet like a statue, Meska was prancing around mocking Elidora. Elidora held her jaw open and her tongue curled as the metal sat on top of it, she made grunts as the bit was making her uncomfortable. Zander was watching like a hawk, planning on how he would react and what would Elidora do if he did. The golden filly kept her eyes and ears locked on Zander as she charged around the corral, half leaping in a rear and kicking around wildy. Elidora let out squeals of anger and irritated snorts, as she ran towards Zander who was bracing himself for impact. Instead Elidora dodged past him, trying her best to scare him. She did so several more times before turning her anger out on the fencing, smacking her side into it then bolting when Zander attempted to grab the reins. Zander gave up on trying to grab the filly and instead got another rope and flung it around in a circle, slowly walking towards Elidora, pushing her forward. This patteren went on for about  50 minutes before Elidora started to tire, Galloping in a circle was starting to make her pant. Elidora now not noticing the bit's odd flavor much anymore, her mouth was no closed, with foam coming from her mouth and sweat all over her body from the exercise. Elidora slowed to a slow trot, her body sore. Zander let a quite smile loose then closed the gap between them. It seemed like Zander's plan all along. Elidora realized it, she was out of energy and Zander was just starting. Elidora  stopped to catch her breath, her head drooping almost to the ground. Zander turned to a slow run, grabbing he reins quickly before Elidora's head went up. Zander was fast, Elidora had to give him that, he was already up on her side, climbing on and dropping the rope. Elidora jerked sideways, making a u-turn and lunging into the air. She bucked as hard as she could, she was tired, and the extra weight did not help. It confused Elidora, how could Red and Jet run as fast as her with people on their backs. Jumping wasted too much energy, which she had little of, she quit that and ran to the fencing, and followed it around. Zander grabbed the rein right before his leg hit the side of the fence, leaving a scrap and his clothing ripped, Zander frowned as he yanked the reins back hard. Elidora let out a scared whinny, the bit pulling against her jaw, holding it somewhat open, and her head held up high, she stopped immediately. She whirled around as Zander was forcing her to turn around. Elidora yanked back, it was starting to hurt now, the bit fighting to go with the reins. It appeared Zander was strong, but he kepted pulling back and forth, and it seemed to work, Elidora was scared at that fact, that she could not do anything to stop it. They fought for the lead for about 20 minutes, before Elidora gave up. Her energy was sapped, nothing left to fight back with.
Zander gave a grin then said "Good girl, see it's okay, No need to fight me." He bent over, rubbing Elidora on her neck, then picked at the mud that was still on her. "Lets get you cleaned up, I trust you will let me now." Red perked his head up, letting a slanted smile, Meska just frowned and turned her back. Zander hopped off, climbed through the fencing and running into the barn. He came out in a fast walk with a bucket full of water and a rag, this time he opened the gate, closed it slowly, the walked over to Elidora, who was too tired to move, her head low to the ground. Zander bent down dipping the rag into the bucket of water, held it to Elidora's nose, letting her sniff it, then whipping her legs down cleaning the mud and blood, from the fight that happened early that morning. It was no easy task, spending a couple of hours with it on had made it hard, it clung to her hide. Zander worked hard for an  hour, scrubbing every inch of Elidora, until she was shinning, only the cuts remained from the fight. Zander, now finished cleaning Elidora, stood up and moved to the side of her head, pulling the top of the bridle over her ears. He kept his hand under her muzzle as she spat out the bit, then stretched her mouth.
It wasn't until evening that Axel came home, riding Jet right into the barn, un-tacking him then running out as he saw Elidora in the new pen, all cleaned up. Zander poked his head out from the house and said "Dinner will be ready soon Axel, clean yourself up before then okay?" Axel smiled as he was climbing in to Elidora's pen and said "Okay dad, just gonna check on Goldy!" Zander laughed and yelled out "Is that what we're calling her?" Axel let out a giggle as he squirmed through, entering the pen "Well, until we get a real name, a good one too pa!" Zander shook his head, a smile on his face. Elidora kept her eyes on Axel as he slowly came closer following the fence. Elidora's eyes caught something form up on the cliff, her gaze jerked to it looking frantically as she heard a whinny, a gentle soothing whinny. It was familiar,  Elidora whinnied back, she pranced around past Axel, her head just barley above a top of the fence. Something came into view, a light pinto mare, her mane flowing with creamy coloring, followed by a couple of mares. It was Nila! Elidora's dam, her mother! "Its Nila, my mother!" Elidora whinnied, her voice loud and happy. Nila tilted her head, her gaze right on Elidora, it seemed to send a strong wave of emotion... love. Axel looked up, squinting his eyes to where Elidora's attention was, then glanced at Elidora, they were right next to each other, so close that Axel could touch her! Axel looked down at Elidora's feet, they were prancing, like she was running to her dam at that moment. Axel's smile turned sad as he said "I had a mom, but she's gone now, She was loving just like yours Goldy, She loved horses too, so much that she got killed saving hers, but her horse died too, to afraid to leave mama..... It was cougars." Tears tore down Axel's face, Elidora glanced at him the word cougar reminded her of the large felines out in the mountains. Cougars, Elidora thought in her mind, it was the first word she learned to understand when humans spoke. Elidora nudged Axel, he wiped his tears and attempted to hug her. Elidora snorted and backed away. "Not yet girl? Okay, but someday I will hug you." Axel reached in his pocket and pulled out one of those apples and held out his hand to her. "Its okay I got this for you, poor, Jet would be jealous, but don't tell him." Axel whispered. Elidora glanced at Red, who bobbed his head, Elidora stepped closer, bending down, her muzzle brushing Axel's fingers as her lips grabbed on the treat. She crunched down juice drizzling out on Axel's hand and her muzzle. Axel smiled and opened the gate, slipping out and running into the house. Elidora looked back to the cliff, Nila was gone, and so was the small group that managed to escape.

    Intro

Elidora never knew much besides to avoid humans, they were bad, confusing, and most of all greedy. Elidora lived in the high lands of the new world, from rocky terrain to the flats by the rivers and lakes. She was a mustang, a beautiful creature, like the sun had given the world its child. From her black and white mane, to her all black tail. Her hazel and green eyes, from her buckskin color and pinto markings, to her wide star on her head. Her name had to do with the sun, as sun warrior or sun dancer, She was both, her attitude was feisty, bold, and graceful. She was too proud and cocky for her own good. Her herd was nearby, a valley they’d spend a few days at, the closest location her herd visits to the humans. Elidora snuck off, she knew that when she got back the herd, especially, the stallion Bruce wouldn’t be happy, infact far from it. She was along the edge of the cliff overlooking a long dirt road and a few distant humans structures they seemed to build so much. Then it started to rain, heavily, she brought herself to a quick paced canter, almost a gallop. Elidora followed down the road under the cover of a few trees whenever she could. Now from a canter to a slow walk she came to the nearest structure, it was a bright warm red almost a brown red, It was warm in there, and smelled like animals, the rain covered up most of the other scents. Elidora came in slowly sniffing everything that interested her. There were walls, made of trees like the exterior, she came closer sniffing it and licking the metal object that was bolted to the wall. Just then a horse head popped up and gave a frightened squeal and reared up. Elidora herself reared up and she stepped back, her mane flying everywhere, unleashing water droplets that were caught inside. Other animals such as one goat, two other horses and a cow and calf arose from the other box like cages. The horse that had reacted gave a snort as he stared at the wild mare that had come in, He was a red bay almost chestnut, his mane the same color and 2 socks in the front, dark brown eyes, and a blaze on his face. The red stallion was much larger than Elidora, he was maybe 5 or perhaps 6, definitely not a Mustang, maybe a quarter or standardbred mix. Elidora was only 2, she was a little small compared to the red stallion, she came closer to him, with no more fear or fright. The stallion leaned his head down and gave a small nicker snort as he sniffed her. Elidora let out a loud snort in response, and without warning gave a bite as the stallion came too close, her ears pinned as she stepped away farther into the building. She came to a stop by the cow and calf in the pen, she bent down in the pile of hay almost hidden by the cow pen, She gently laid down tucking her front legs under her chest and her hind out to the side.

The next morning came quickly, the rain had stopped, and was almost gone from the puddles outside. Elidora awoke to the noise of all the animals in the building, their noises became annoying, she got up quickly as voices became clear and louder. Whatever it was they were coming this way. Elidora shook herself off and came to the middle of the building. Two men came in and one dropped a bucket full of grain as he fell over. The other lunged for the stall gates parallel to each other. He yelled something that made no sense to Elidora. “Hey go get some rope son!” The younger human quickly got up and ran off around to a smaller version of the barn. Elidora backed up to the wall as the man who stayed blocked the exit with the stall doors parallel to one another. Elidora paced around anxiously, she had made a mistake to stay here, and she was going to pay the price full in capture. She gave worried and cautious whinnies, she had never been this close to a human, she slammed her hooves into the ground in a fit of anger. The older man, he looked in his 30’s, light brown hair, blue eyes, sun baked skin, tall, and from the looks of it definitely has some scars from horses on his body. The man cautiously as quickly tacked up two horses, Elidora panicked, what was he doing, her mind was confused and she acted on fear, and charged at the gate, the younger man, a boy, with dark brown hair and gray blue eyes, came running in with some rope, he started swinging it in her direction. Elidora came to a quick stop and bolted back to the back of the barn, she started to get more panicked, there was only one way out, the barrier of stall doors they used to almost to her shoulder, and the long object they could use to snag her or even hurt her. “That's a beautiful horse papa, Think we can get a good price?” The boy whispered. The older man as almost twice as tall as the kid. “Hell yeah, she’s ours now. No way she can escape unless she dares to jump. Get ready with the horses Axel.” The man said in a deep voice. Elidora couldn’t wait any longer, she had to do something. Axel hopped on his horse readying a rope with a heavily tied knot on it. Elidora charged, then stopped and ran back as a rope flew past her head, just missing her. Elidora faltered a bit then took a leap as Axel was pulling his rope back for another go. Axel then yelled “Lookout! Dad she’s making a break for it!” Elidora barely nicked the top of the gate as she just managed to make it over safely. Axel’s father quickly hopped up on his horse and gathered his rope. “C’mon Axel or she’ll get away!” he yelled.

CHAPTER ONE

As Elidora charged out and around the barn, she was soon followed by Axel and what seemed to be his father. Axel followed behind his dad on a dark brown seal colt that looked just around Elidora’s age, the colt had a dapple pattern in his coat, a white sock on his left front leg and a stripe on his head. Just ahead of the colt and Axel was the older man, whom was on the liver red chestnut stallion. The Red stallion was quite fast and was gaining on Elidora at a steady pace. As they got closer Elidora leaped up a small slope and into a rocky field. A smart move on her part, most tamed horses don’t move around much on this rocky uneven ground as wild born horses did. Her pursuers had to go around the rocky field. As she came up upon the end of the field Elidora took another shortcut which was hard to access from the way around the rocky terrain, it was a dirt road going up towards the nearest cliff of the mountain side. Axel on the dark seal brown colt came first as the older red stallion had a harder time up the cliff. Elidora pinned her ears backward listening to the sound of the rope swinging in the air. Pretty soon she could only hear Axel, but where did the other two legged go, she tilted her head back eyeing behind her, he definitely wasn’t there and that made Elidora uneasy. A sharp turn in between the rocky hillside cliffs was coming up, that path lead into a large valley surrounded by cliffs and hills where her herd spent most of their time there. Elidora slowed her pace down to round the turn, Axel was catching up now, he didn’t see what was coming up neither did his steed. As Elidora rounded the turn Axel threw his rope just catching part of her black and white flowing mane before sliding off. The colt came to a quick and scary sudden stop just a few inches away from the wall of rock. Elidora stopped starting to feel winded, she was almost back by now, to the safety of the herd. She broke into a canter, looking back every now and then, Axel had seemed to given up after the close call he and the colt had almost run into. She halted for a few seconds looking around, It was very quiet, even for the forest. Elidora came to a slow walk looking around everywhere. From where she was, she should be able to hear the herd or a few birds chirping their brains off. As the valley became more visible, she could see now that the herd infact wasn’t there. It was at that moment that Elidora realized they moved while she was still out, perhaps to the other grazing fields, but that was more or less a mile away. Even worse she had no Idea where the humans are or went. For all she knew they could still be around waiting for her to make a mistake. She took careful steps as she entered the open field surrounded by cliff walls, every so now and then she would stop, sniff and look around before moving on. There was still no sign of them, and Elidora knew they couldn't have lost her, maybe they wanted to find her herd, maybe they wanted to rest or get the drop on her. It wasn't long before Elidora found evidence of her herd and where they went, the scent was fresh so they must be close or on their way to the other grazing grounds. Elidora forced her tired self into a quick trot, her legs swiftly moving back and forth in a graceful pattern, her mane and tail flagging as she trotted. Just then something moved above the cliff walls in the brush, Elidora immediately stopped, her gaze set up where the movement was first spotted, but it seems like it was never there, everything natural and quiet, soothing and peaceful. She started moving on again, this time into a fast canter, her nostrils flaring in and out as she breathed and smelled the air against her face, it was blowing towards her, which made it harder to tell if her welcomed guests where still lurking around. As she started to slow down, she realized that she was very tired, and that made her very nervous, she could tell they must be close, she kept seeing something moving in the trees around the corner of her eyes.
Elidora continued on for about 8 minutes before catching a glimpse of her herd, she set her eyes behind her looking around and catching a glimpse of the dapple seal brown colt and the boy Axel, still the older man and the red stallion were no where to be seen. As she set her gaze back on her herd Bruce was already on his way, he wore a angry displeased face as he strutted his way to her, making himself look bigger then he really was, and he was a large draft like mustang. Bruce's coat was like a steel blue black, with a white marking on his belly, 4 white socks, large hooves draped with feathers on his feet. His mane and tail blended in with his coat, they were only visible when he moved with them flying back and forth each pace and step he took. Elidora lowered her neck and head down submissively she knew she had done bad by leaving and not coming back in time, she turned to her side in a friendly manner hoping that he would not notice her expression. Bruce came to a walk, his ears pinned and his neck arched, as he came within a few inches of her shoulder and neck, he stopped letting out angry grunts and squeals. He came in biting at her side and pushing her towards the herd, not letting her stop even for a second. A cream maned palomino pinto mare with soft brown eyes was standing more to the outskirts of the herd closest to Bruce and Elidora. It was Elidora's mother the lead mare, she was known as Nila. As Elidora got pushed closer Bruce seemed to stop and went back to his post on a hill. Nila came closer coming up to Elidora's side and nudging her affectionately and nipping her mane. Elidora gave a few sad nickers as if Nila was trying to cheer her up from her father's reaction. Elidora had forgotten the threat that had followed her this way and began to relax her tired sore muscles, she defiantly wasn't going on another adventure for a while. Nila gave Elidora some space as she started to nod off into a sleep stand. It was about 20 minutes before Elidora awoke to the yells of man and the squeal of horses, Everything was a mess horses running  everywhere trying to escape from the walled in valley, men following close after them, and worse the exit had been blocked with tree logs stacked together. There were more men then before at least 8 of them instead of 2 and at that moment Elidora realized the man on the red stallion had gone back for help, and had used her to lead them to the herd. Her legs began to shake as she realized it was all her fault. She turned her head to see the red stallion and his master narrowing in on Elidora, and the seal dapple brown colt was close by behind her. Both had their ropes ready and both wore smirks on their faces. Elidora didn't have much time to react when they charged her, she run up not knowing where to go right into a rope as it slipped over her head and tightened around her neck. Her breath suddenly felt lost as she stumbled when the rope hit, it winded her, she  got up  as quickly as her legs wobbled and ached. Axel had now thrown a rope on her neck as well, both tight and constricting, Elidora struggled fiercely rearing up and tangling the two ropes together, she could feel the ropes getting shorter and closing in on her, her mind flashed was this it? Was this her last taste of freedom? Her last day as a wild horse living where ever she wanted to was about to end forever. Just then Bruce charged into the red stallion, the man yelling in pain as he fell off as the red stallion stumbled to his knees. Elidora twisted her head sideways as she reared up, the rope beginning to slip off as Axel tugged hard on his rope that was still tangled in the other. Bruce left suddenly running towards Nila whom was in deep trouble, 3 men had subdued her. Elidora had gotten both the ropes off by the time Axel was readying his rope again and the red stallion had gotten back up and the man on his back. She broke into a gallop trying to find another way out besides the exit which was blocked. As she rounded to turn back around a gun was fired, her eyes frantically looking around to see what had happened. Then she spotted 2 shapes on the ground, one was a man, whom was dead with wounds that looked like Bruce's work, and the other.... Was Bruce, with a rifle wound in his chest. They had killed him, a life for an life or how ever that saying goes. Everything seemed to freeze and at that moment Elidora seemed to cry, it was like the whole world was changing, now the language of man was un-readable and the noises of the animals and horses became understandable. Elidora seemed to speak in what used to sound like whinnies and grunts was now translated. "W-why.. why would they do t-this!" Elidora's voice spoke for the first time as she fell to the ground. Her eyes closed and tears poured, she laid there even when she became surrounded by the men as her fellow herd members were rounded up with only a few left to escape. It seemed like Elidora had given up. Her mother had gotten free from Bruce's help before he had gotten killed, she was one of the lucky ones to escape, her eyes gazing back as she and a few of the horses escaped the valley...
Elidora struggled all she could but it wasn't helping, it just made her even more tired and angry, every time she stopped she would hear a yell and the crackle of a whip against her hide. Almost the entire herd was caught, and will be broken and sold to who ever needs a horse. It wasn't fair Elidora kept thinking over and over in her mind. After an 45 minutes of struggling and being shoved all the way back to the humans' village Elidora finally said something to the red stallion. "Whats going to happen to all of us?" she asked politely. The red stallion took a minute to respond. "Eh... Most of you will be broken sold or kept and some of you will go to the rodeo for entertainment." Elidora thought for a moment then said "Elidora." The red stallion looked confused and said "hmm?" "That's my name stupid." She said less shaky as the conversation was helping her cope. "Oh... ok.Yeah... u-um Red. yeah thats me." Red said nervously. "Oh woooow wee I wouldn't have been able to guess." Elidora teased. As their conversation got better another mare that was just behind Elidora named Meska blurted out "HEY, Elidora don't talk to any of them their the traitors. THEY helped steal us from our home!" Elidora looked back and kicked Meska in the chest, Meska did not like that at all. Meska has always been grumpy and short tempered. Red looked concerned as Elidora got punished for that and so did Meska. "Don't mind her, she is always in a bad mood." Elidora whispered. Red seemed to smile at that then said "Oh guess I know who will get sent to the rodeo first. Grumps like her make good rodeo horses." He whispered back. Elidora gave a smile, but then thought back of what happened to bruce, she slowed down and quit talking. Red looks back with a wince and said "Sorry about what happened, I didn't except that any of you would get killed, thats what they do, an eye for an eye." Elidora looks away and said harshly "More like a life for a life." Their conversation was getting worse by the minute, luckily their stop was upon them now and they turned down towards the barn that had started it all. Only Axel, his father, Red, Axel's horse, and Meska turned down the dirt road of the barn, house, and pens. The man halted to a stop on Red and looked back as another man said "You taking those beauties Zander?" Elidora and Meska became frusterated that they stopped, they both wanted their life to end quickly out of this mess, more so Meska. Zander shouted back. "Yeah, We get the best don't we, after all Axel and I found the herd, so don't try to worm your way to the better ones you old coot." Axel turned around and said: Cya Nester, say hi to Abby for me!" Elidora looked back watching her friends and family leave to what ever fate they would face, but was yanked by the rope around her neck and a yell from Zander. They continued to be lead into a small enclosure, with high fencing. It must of been built that way on purpose because they seemed to own a lot of land, high walls and small space to run around, perhaps to keep horses from escaping. Meska was let into the same pen, and it was a cozy fit, a small hay pile, a water trough, a shelter/hanger of shade above part of it. Axel took the reins of Red for Zander as he locked the gate and checked the barrier that kept their new horses. The colt gave a smirked look to Elidora and Meska and simply said "Hey lovelies, got room for one more, my names Jet and you two are a beautiful sight." Meska rolled her eyes, and Elidora just ignored him, she was still sad about what had happened and it was all her fault. Jet seems more determined now then before "Oh Elidora was it, yeah, that was some escape you made before this morning, Thanks to you I got two new mares and a great day of exercise." Red gave a harsh glare "Not now Jet leave them be." Meska perked her head up. "It was you who lead them to us, HOW could you Elidora!" Meska  yelled out as she stomped her hooves into the ground and gave a long disgusted face as well as a displeased snort and stomped over to the shelter. Elidora's guilt became even heaver she had lost it all, her father, her family, her friends, and most of all her freedom. She missed all of them so much, her heart felt like an old machine that would stop ticking then start up again even worse and would eventually break forever. As Red and Jet were put inside their stalls or pens, what ever you would consider them, it started to rain. It was like the sky itself was in as much guilt and sadness as Elidora. Meska made well sure to Elidora that she didn't want to even share the shelter with her, biting Elidora every time as she attempted to come near. Elidora quickly became jealous of Red and Jet in their cozy little cages which were warm and dry. Meska didn't seem to care, although she was quite dry herself. The rain lasted half way into the night and by the time it had stopped Elidora was soaking wet, and her muscles and bones ached. Every now and then Elidora checked on how Meska was doing, and would get a glare each time, but it made Elidora feel better, Just knowing that Meska had enough will and energy to give a glare and have her head lifted, made her happy and yet very sad. Eventually Elidora and Meska nodded off to sleep, with Meska sleep standing and Elidora laying down.
In the morning Meska was the first to wake, she was still dry and clean, as poor Elidora was muddy and still wet. Meska gave a glare as she stood over Elidora, who was still sleeping soundly. Meska smirked as she scooped up a ton of muddy hay and dirt into Elidora's face with her hoof. Before Meska could even move away, Elidora snapped awake, and stood to her feet, stumbling a bit before pinning her ears and leaping at Meska. "What was that for!" Elidora snapped as she reared up plunging her hooves into Meska's side. "OW! Stop it!" Meska yelped out with a loud squeal. Elidora chased Meska around the small enclosure, biting and snapping her teeth at Meska as she said "That was pay back!" Meska reared up only to meet the eyes of one angry Elidora rearing as their bodies collided, with each of them making a racket. Meska slipped on some mud and fell flat on her side, as Elidora groaned and said "That was for not sharing last night you old goat." All the noise had attracted Jet's attention who was clearly visible from the barn. Just as Jet was about to say something Red interrupted and said "Don't even start Jet, its too early and I need more rest." Jet frowned and pinned his ears, turning his back to Red who was not visible and went back to sleep. Meska had gotten up by then and she shoved Elidora right into the tall fencing. Elidora was starting to get irritated and so was Meska. "What you wanna fight now huh Meska?" Elidora's voice rattled. "Please, not that you would be a good fighter you foal, I'm older then you, plus mares don't fight, thats a stallions job... oh wait Bruce is dead guess no stallions, no fights, now go back to your muddy puddle and cry!" Meska said harshly. Elidora snorted, her eyes clearly angry as well as her expression and stance. Elidora had fought before, with other horses, mainly colts. "I had always wanted to be a stallion, they always got all the action and more freedoms, being a mare stunk in her mind, but enough thinking, Meska will pay for insulting Bruce like that!" she said in her mind. Elidora charged at Meska, their hooves clashing into one another, each biting, each acting like fools. Blood was almost everywhere by the time they had awoken Zander and Axel. Meska was much larger then Elidora, she was way older too, and it was easy to overpower a tired young not full grown horse. Elidora was on her back now, at the mercy of Meska whom was about to finish the young filly as a rope had swung around her neck and pulled her back. "Axel get the golden filly out now!" Zander yelled, his grip starting to loosen from Meska's struggling rage. Axel ran in, lifted up Elidora's head and stuck what seemed to be a rope tied in together that fit around her head almost perfectly. In fear Elidora got up with the rope all over her face as she was pulled out of the pen, just before Zander lost hold of the rope and Axel shut the gate. Elidora was too tired to struggle free as she was led into a stall right next to Red who had a terrified expression on his face. "Pa we can't have her in here, remember she proved she could jump over the gate, I bet if she tried she could hop over it even in a small stall." Axel said in what seemed to be a worried tone. "Then hobble her front legs Axel."Zander said in a strict tone then saying. "We can't have them killing each other so this is the best we got right now." Axel bent down weaving the rope he used that was attached the the rope head thing, into a tight fitted knot. Elidora didn't like the feeling of her legs tied together, she started to panic, jerking around, and hitting Axel as he finished the knot, and knocking him out of the pen. "Just leave her for now, We can clean her up later, she is way to scared now." Zander said as he helped Axel up off the ground and made sure he was okay. They both went over to the back of the barn and filled up five wooden buckets full of what reminded Elidora of the wild grain that grows out in the mountains. Axel dropped one on a hook that was on all of the stall doors. "Axel go feed that mare outside, and make sure the fence is okay, they seemed pretty determined, and might of damaged the fence." Zander spoke in a calm voice as he walked over to the cow and calf from before and dropped one bucket on a hook that was lower to the ground, then moved on to Elidora's and Red's stalls. Jet had already begun stuffing his face full of the stuff, Elidora tilted her head and narrowed her eyes, at Jet then looked a Red who was eating it like Jet but less messy. Red looked at her and said "We get this every morning and afternoon, It may not be what you're used to eating but, its still darn good." Elidora took another glance at Jet who had grains all over his face, with his mouth full of the stuff. "Are you sure its safe, I mean look at Jet, uh... ew don't look at Jet!" Elidora said, her voice sounding as if it were to throw up right as she said it. Jet was licking his face now, trying to get a piece of grain between his nostrils, as his eyes focused hard on it.
